The Toyota Fortuner, then, is a bit of a perplexing case study. It wasn’t even in Toyota’s top-10 best sellers for 2018.
The Toyota Fortuner comes standard with dual-SRS airbags, driver’s knee airbag, and anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution. The top of the line 4WD V variant adds side airbags, curtain airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist control, and trailer sway control. All variants come with standard three-point seatbelts for all seven occupants, the second row comes with two ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Standard are 17-inch alloy wheels with a full-size spare, cruise control, auto headlights, retractable side mirrors, side steps, mudflaps, fabric trim the aforementioned media screen with one USB and auxiliary jack.
The Fortuner GX is the opening gambit in the line-up, starting at $44,590 plus on-road costs.

Why does Toyota fortuner fails to deploy airbags in accidents.... no boubt it is a beautiful car but has lots of videos in UA-cam and even I have heard accidents in my area without airbags undeployed....

Sun roof is not suitable for our weather condition....lts waste feature....its not more valid...

Pro:
1. When you are parking your car some hot places like Chennai (India) the moment you still inside car after shopping you will feel the heat. Just unlock the car , open sun roof , turn on AC Blowers believe me with in few seconds the heat will be gone.
2. When you go for outing if you decide to park your car near sea shore or mountain and take rest for sometime in that care if you open sunroof and see the sky + sea or mountain , that pleasure is awesome.
Note: I love Fortuner but It was out of my budget. So I bought Verna ( with sunroof) , and am happy with this.

Cheating customers with the brand name.
The brown interiors looks dull, seat comfort is good.I heard they will launch an updated fortuner on April 8. The updated model will have chamois shade option. They should have included a variant with sunroof especially for those people who want it. It would attract them more buyers.But i would choose the one without sunroof as the presence of sunroof lowers down the structural integrity of the vehicle
