This wasn't even a pipe dream back in the day, it wasn't even a dream at all. What you all have done with this game is something that i never thought would happen. Congrats Bvr :)
This video is spicier than the spice plants. I watch it a lot as background noise while I'm chilling. It had 22k views when i started watching, it now has 24k views. For sure an unmatched speedrun Edit: it’s passed 30k. Congrats!
ya know i've been rewatching this for a month now, idk how i haven't liked and commented already bc you know i'm already gonna be subscribed to our favorite Bvr B)
@@Andrethegiant2008 the Korean voice lines are much faster than the English voice lines, and the cutscenes are trimmed to match with Korean, so the entire game ends up 9 mins faster. The North American release saves back 4 minutes on something unrelated (skipping the epilepsy warning on game resets), so the difference ends up being 5 minutes saved for Korean.
That’s called a quad jump. A standard glitch high jump is done by holding square and hitting X three times, causing Sly to gain ground in mid-air (plume of dust). Quad jumping is the same thing but you need to hit circle after the first 2 jumps, and before the dust plume. So the inputs are (hold square) X X O X. It requires being on a rope or spire point
On the North American version of the game, setting the console to German (among other languages) skips the 7 second Health & Safety warning, which normally appears each time the game launches. Across the run it adds up to save almost 4 minutes
No, digital download on PS3 is significantly faster due to faster loads and also faster dialogue, since the game has to load individual voicelines. The game also runs just over 1% faster on PS3, so although they're small differences at a small scale, they add up over time and create a huge difference.
It happens to any photo when it’s taken on the earliest frame that the photo is possible. Game hasn’t loaded the text for the photo yet, so it displays the previous photo target’s text

It's incredible that Sly managed to go the whole game without stealing anything... yet
I love this comment!
Saw "English WR" in the title and instantly liked the video
Your runs are so relaxing to watch and listen to.

@@Bvr_GG Cool, thanks for the explanation! Always been curious about that. :)
What's with that crackling noise every now and then. You cracking your knuckles or something?
What’s the trick for that first rope high jump in Cairo?

way to pogshrimp your way to victory
Is there a reason the ps menu is in German or something?

@@Bvr_GG this is incredibly fascinating, thank you
Nice now with the other languages

The real torture test is doing a speed run on a Vita. I’ve been playing Sly 2 on my vita and the input lag is terrible lol
41:00 does Carmelita photo always say Contessa? Lol
