Thank you SO MUCH for this head articulation tutorial!!! There are so many great male head sculpts that are stiff and incompatible with lot of the articulated bodies in the market right now. This is a great solution! 💓💓

Froggy, a good tip for next time. Take a bread tag and trim it to fit inside the head. Then, glue the bread tag into the head. It takes a lot less glue and gives his head a bigger range of motion.

OMG you are way braver than I am! I have a few Ken dolls with heads like Naveen that I'd love to give more articulation to, but I get that ridge and am WAY too chicken to even attempt taking off large chunks! The head fits the bother body okay, but the ridge gives it a weird shape and it does have a bobble head. Darn it!

Omg you have just saved my custom doll! I had an older ken doll that i wanted on a more articulated and i trimmed it like you, but couldnt figure out how to make his head stay on!! Hot glue to the rescue!! Better reroot him first though 😅

Love it! Love customizing dolls! I just got a 32" Moana which is fully articulated. I want to change the eyes though. They are larger than I like and made of an acrylic button for the Iris. Any suggestions on how to give her more realistic eyes? Thx
