24:40 - DOH!! moment. I've done this on most stoves I've used. Yup, it happens.
Hello from Los Angeles, California. Fantastic comparison on the Swedish and Russian made stoves.
23:30 - It's 750 grams empty weight on both stoves?
I have the Optimus SVEA 123. I've always been curios about the 8R and Tourist stoves.
Thank you for posting this with English Subtitles.
    Have a nice day!

On the Russian stove you might want to replace the wick as it is on a crepe bandage, which is not very good, try some cotton string about 8" folded in half, it should give you a better vapour burn, this is just my opinion.

Excellent video. Just before you wanted to say where to buy cleaning petrol you changed the subject and forgot to say where to buy it. Can you rectify that? Thanks.

Sure... You can buy it at any ironworks shop (željezara). Avoid buying it in pharmacies as you'll pay four times more. If you are short usual gasoline ES95 will do but not too many times as additives will make your stove dirty.

+Naftas81 Hi there IZ, if you ground down the lead in a 4" pencil to a dust, then add 1 or 2 drops of washing up liquid, ( the liquid you add to hot water to wash your dishes and plates etc,) but you only need to pack that in before putting the nut back on the spindle, on the Swedish stove only. Anything else that you are not sure about, just contact me as I have subscribed to your channel.

I have both. I tend to use the Russian stove more.

Your Russian stove will roar like real motor when you have changed the wick, you will see.

Wick replacement with mop cotton string was the first thin I've done with Russian. It works quite good.

How and where I can I purchase the Russian stove in the United States? That is a beautiful piece of engineering!

Only through eBay or some flea markets. But I would recommend Swedish one due to spare parts standards and stock.
