She was actually NOT sentenced to life in prison, she was sentenced to 30 years to life meaning she can get out after 30 years which is now and that is totally outrageous. To even consider parole for her is a miscarriage of justice but that is what she was sentenced to and no way to change that now. All we can hope is that they deny her parole.

You are right, but in her (psychopathic) mind, in order to secure the object of her desire, she had to cease to be a mother. A woman with children who live with their Dad is still a mother, and might well have to pay child support. She could deny the kids existed to her lover, but she might be found out, especially as the kids got older.
The entirely logical solution then, is to dispose of them permanently. The extreme lack of empathy that is a major part of psychopathy, such that a human being has no more significance than a hamburger wrapper, enabled her to turn this plan into reality. The children no longer served her purposes, and thus were discarded.

It's up to the DA to determine if the filmmaker committed a crime and should be prosecuted. Regardless, I think the filmmaker behaved unethically. The contact information sought could have been acquired some other way. It may have been more difficult, but that's what has to be done. Using her as a shortcut was wrong, IMO.

I was one of the people closely following the story in 1994, crying in front of my TV over those little boys. My sister and I sent flowers to the memorial. That story made national news. Kathie Lee Gifford walked off the set of Regis and Kathy Lee when a police officer they were talking to described pulling the car out of the lake. I was an 18 year old just out of high school. I'll never forget it. My two nephews were the exact same age. One of them is now a married father of three. Both have good careers. Michael and Alex didn't even get to go to school. If they let that monster out on parole the justice system in this country will be officially proven to be completely broken. She doesn't deserve to ever be released. Horrible, evil woman.

She stood next to the father of 3 yr old Michael and Alex 14 months, her eyes closed not looking at anyone and no tears. I KNEW, right then and there, it was her. She did something to those 2 precious boys. I was a mother of a 4 yr old little boy at that time. There's no way I could've stood in front of cameras if someone had taken my son. I would've been beyond hysterical and would've had to have been sedated. Yet, Susan stood there with no trace of any tears, from before or during her performance. Now that's cold. Mrs. B
