If you've watched my videos carefully the past few years from Vietnam, you would notice that in many of those videos Minh appears in them. I met him one day when I booked an Uber ride with him. I asked him if he would drive a day for hire and he said yes and the rest is history. We have been on many amazing trips together in order to make videos. Without him and his patience and help and determination to drive far and long without complaining, I would have had a much harder time creating content. So, Minh, thank you so much for your help throughout the years. If you want to hire Minh for a day or two, please reach out to me on Facebook.

Kyle, what a great video to honor Minh! I will never forget how kind, patient and helpful he was when were trying to find my aunt. Spending those days with you gave me a glimpse into how much effort and care you take into producing your videos. Minh was no doubt a big part in making it all happen. Thank you Mr. Minh!! You truly are a good man.
How about those days in San Diego spent with me. hahahahaha. good times.
Those days were pretty good too!! Kyle dance party!!
I've met so many nice Uber drivers in Saigon. They're such genuine and hard working people. I'm so touched by the story shared here. Please keep up the good work!
Your stories are getting better and better and deeper. Thank you for sharing Minh story, what an honest, genuine and hard working man. I hope his future is secure and his kids lives are improved in the years to come. 👍🏼✊🏻I respect and admire you Kyle for being the voice to so many.
I could not have produced as much content from far away regions of Vietnam without Minh's help throughout the past few years. We met randomly through an Uber booking and he became instrumental in helping me get to locations required for filming all of these videos in many places in Vietnam. If you want to hire him for a day or two or more, please contact me through Facebook and I'll give you his details. Minh is a really hard working guy and I'm glad that I was able to help him as often as I could. Thank you Minh for helping me and being so patient and understanding through long days. Kyle - can i have his number as i will be travelling to vietnam soon
A truly incredible short documentary. Emotional endind. Excellent delivery throughout. If I'm ever fortunate to visit Vn and I really hope to do so one day when it comes, I wish to visit the blind village and contribute...thanks to this vid. All the continued good luck and faith, Kyle. I hope your Mom is proud of you for this work.
Kyle Le Dot Net Kyle you are truly inspiration and I have so much respect for what you are doing. I hope your work inspires other Viet Kieus to “pay it forward” to progress Vietnam, preserve our heritage, culture, ancestors, family, and history.
I wish Chu Minh luck and prosperity as well.
I'm going to Vietnam in November of this year (2018) and would love to take advantage of this. Guess I will hit you up on Facebook in about 8 months LOL!
This video is closer to me than others. I see my dad in Minh. He used to do all the things Minh did and still does occasionally today. Thank you, Kyle, for showing what a great man he is and how hardworking a man can be to provide for his family!
Thank you, Kyle, for a moving story. You give a voice, a name, and a face to what others would normally consider a transactional encounter - get a lyft, take a ride - everyday. The story also says a lot about Minh, the Uber driver, about the resilience and resourcefulness of the everyday Vietnamese people struggling to make ends meet.
Who knows, thanks to the Internet and the global reach of Silicon Valley's companies like Uber, Lyft, in addition to Intel, Cisco, facebook, etc. life of Vietnamese people will improve and get better. I enjoy watching your videos, they keep getting better and better in both the stories you tell and the quality of the video footage. Keep up the good work, young man from Southern Cal.
What a great tribute. The drivers add so much to your trip. I loved all of ours.
He seems like an honest man. Good for him that Uber's working, I only wish the best for him.
Love the story and much respect for Mr. Minh to pass all the difficult time in his life to get where he is today. Thanks to Kyle for this video, it is very inspirational, we need more of this story so we don’t take thing for granted in life.
What a kind, sweet man. I pray many blessings over him and his family. 💜
It's emotional video, there's a lot of people behind you. This video helps me know what difficulties Kyle had to face and how hard you worked , thanks for uploading , Good day Kyle !
Minh will be driving for me for a few days next week because of you Kyle. Good work bro. I am glad to support a trustworthy hardworking person. Kyle Gave me his contact.
You should do a go fund me page for him so he can get a weekend off to spend with his family. I’ll def donate!
It's a story of the perseverance that many Vietnamese go through! Start out with the clothes on their back to be able to lease a car to work. $800 a month seems like a lot of money to lease a car but then when you think a car in Vietnam is 2-3X the price of the same car in the US, the lease price doesn't seem that bad but that's a lot of money for one man to make every month plus the cost of gas. Wish there was a way you can promote his service but advertising his phone number might not be the best way. Thanks for another great video!
this video is a way to advertise his service. many people already reached out to me and I have already passed on his number. they will get a reliable and nice driver who charges very fairly and he gets work to support his family. everyone wins.
he has requested not to openly post his phone number so I didn't do it.
and no, im not taking a cut or anything from being the middle man. just happy to help someone who helped me big time.
That's great that people have reached out for his info! Hope no one asked if you were getting a cut. It's just a way Viet help Viet when they can.
Keep on being awesome Kyle, your passion shows through all your work.
Thank you Kyle for this great video. I am sure there are many stories like this from the people living in South VN. So sad this very sweet man has to work so much not able to see his daughter at all. Thanks again for upload. I now learn how much work (blood and sweats) you put in to make one video for us to watch. Thank you with all my heart, Kyle.
When are you going to knock it off with this South Vietnamese, North Vietnamese bullshit.
NEVER, hun!
You're are great, Kyle. I appreciate your works! Love you.
Very touching. Thank you Kyle for such varied contents.
Good job. Keep going and thanks for all your hard works and providing all precious details videos.
Very big heart for giving this gentleman the opportunity to share his story.
Touch of class Kyle, acknowledging the Vietnamese friends that made your life a little bit more less complex and tiresome in Vietnam. I had my fair share during the 10 years there and there are so many of those genuinely caring and friendly Vietnamese people, they truly worry for you when you go somewhere new. They work such long hours to earn mere pittance but they have no problem spending an extra 30 minutes to an hour to make sure you get something done or get somewhere safe and sound. I believe in karma and I believe your kindness and open mindedness will reward you. Take care.
Sorry, I meant "... a little LESS complicated ..."
Thank you for showing us the real people of Vietnam. ✊🏼
Thank you Mihn!! Another great video Kyle!
Uber in Vietnam is way cheaper compared to Taxi, and most drivers friendlier than taxi drivers, too. I dont like taking cabs in Vietnam because most drivers will refuse to drive you to short distances. Most taxi drivers in Vietnam are rude.
Am so glad Uber to'i VN cho da^n chu'ng do? do'i kho^?. Vi` chi? co' mo^.t tha`nh pha^`n CS gia^`u co' an uo^'ng phe^ pha?. da^n mie^`n Nam la`m an va^'t va? cu.c kho^?. to^.i nghie^.p. Thank you Kyle for the video.. Thanks to Uber driver telling us about real life in VN 2017's (actually since 1975-2017, my friends). Muo^'n que^n
cu?ng kho^ng que^n duo.c ! this poor man he looks about 45 years old . Kho^? qua' ca'c ba.n oi !
if you listen to him carefully , his family was poor even before the fall of Saigon
You are right, fighting was so bad that's why, when CS (communist) xa^m chie^'m (invading) the South, no one able to work or have a decent daily life. It's been 42 years I have not return to see it myself, I only heard from people. I learn to forgive, but forget? NO
you can write it in English or Vietnamese but no Vinglish please
lol just let him be butthurt still crying about the country becoming one and growing day by day with out him and his family :) soon we will be in top 20 richest nation and we can achive it faster if there were more people like kyle come back to vietnam to help built the country + we dont need butthurt traitor doing bad shit in vietnam and turn vietnam into 2.0 syria lol
Great story Kyle. Thank you both for the hard work
Love from india, I feel so emotional from that guy.... My tear almost fall.. love you kyle as well as the driver
simple..yet very interesting video..keep it up Kyle !
I'm so happy you were able to find a driver like him. Thank you for sharing his story! It made me emotional. I hope his future is secure for him and his family.
Another touchy story Kyle! Your videos are great!
great as usual. good job Kyle
thank you for sharing this emotional video. Such a kind driver who is working hard for his family. Pray for him to be having a good life forward.
Kyle, thanks for the great videos. We are headed to VN for the first time in 10 days. Plan to spend the week between Phu Quoc/Mekong Delta and Saigon. Your content has helped us create our itinerary. Many thanks from DFW.
The old saying that persistence pays is always true!
Love love love love it Kyle 😘😘😘😘👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Very touching story. What’s sad about it is that there is probably 10000 other individuals in VN just like him.
Good video Kyle . Trung thuc , lan sau ve Vietnam se lien lac nho anh Minh dua di, keep doing your good work .
That was a credible story .
Great videos...thoroughly enjoyed all the help you provided to so many...keep it up!
thanks for another fantastic video again Kyle
the one after the next will be better.... i think...
That was so touching. I pray for the both of you and your families.🙏
Just came across your channel. This was a very touching video.
Very hardworking guy! Makes me count my blessings.
Thank you so much KYLE .
Wow what a good honest man
Compassion my friend. I will show that uber driver compassion. May Buddha bless you man
Awesome! This is a beautiful story, but do not forget the traditional taxi companies like Vinasun.
So sad for his life story, he was raised by his grandparents while his mom remarried with other one. He looks like a tree, self- grown-up, raised some milk cows and sold cows to make a living and married a wife.
My eyes were wet. Thanks Kyle, thanks Minh.
Hey Kyle!! I’ve been watching all your videos it would be cool if you could make a video in long xuyen! From where my parents and family are
Great video.Thx Kyle
Kyle, could you share his contact? I will use his service next time. Great job!
Every video most likely helps my language (Vietnamese because I’m suppose to be 100% Vietnamese)I’m just so use to saying English words because of English schools. So yeah I hope I get better with my Vietnamese language or that would be embarrassing for me when I got to Vietnam speaking like a child that does not know how to speak Vietnamese. Thanks for the vids! :))
Godbless him, what a hard worker.
what a story thanks Kyle :]
I didn’t know onions can make people blind.
And that was his favorite. LOL.
ua-cam.com/video/G-Ovjz807fw/v-deo.html
It's probably his favorite not because the people are hurting but because he felt bad for them.
Stories like this really hit me emotionally. I know what it's like working 7 days and not earning a profit.
Great video Kyle !💖💖💖👍👍👍
Kyle, your videos are great.
really love your stories and videos !
Thanks bro
Watched and liked.
very good job brother
kyle sang mỹ rồi à, không biết sắp tới có còn video về việt nam không bạn ?
Kyle từng nói Kyle chưa biết trước được. Nếu có cơ hội về VN thì sẽ còn clips về VN.
You are truly doing some very good work .... Where is he based? My next Vietnam trip is particularly to Hanoi ... again , well done
Thank you KyLe . ..
thank you
Poor him, I've been there done that. Sorry for him n me ayh. Hihihih.
Are you going to visit Antti Luode and do a video about him/her?
Aacckkk.... I wish this video came out 2 weeks ago... I just got back from Vietnam and so totally could have used a driver. I will be back again... What City is Minh in? HCMC?
Sophie Bakall,
I do not know this driver personally. However, based on his Souhern accent, I am 99% confident that Minh lives and works in Saigon. By the way Sophie, we Viets (both Northern and Southern) prefer the old name of the city, Saigon. Only commie officials like to call the city HCMC.
I prefer the name Saigon as well. Hence why I only used the acronym HCMC. Also, many people who read these comments have never been to Saigon and think it is 2 dif cities.. even some of my friends here in the US think HCMC and Saigon are 2 dif cities.
Very nice!
Kudos to anh Minh!
please post his phone # when some one in VIET NAM can use his service thanks KYLE .
Minh would rather keep his number private so if anyone needs it, they can reach out to Kyle on facebook.com/kylele.net/
Shouldn't you adress him as chu than anh? He looks way older than you.
TheDarkKnightrises060 anh is totally fine if you have kind of a close relationship. But of course, it may vary from person to person.
Vietnam is awesome hahaha.
video hay lam
bác tài rất là dễ mến, thật thà
Does Minh speak English or French and if so, is there a way to contact him?
Hey Kyle - can you please send me a PM with this lovely man's details as I'd like to use him in an upcoming trip.
love it!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Kyle. Who owns the car that Minh drives for hire? Does the temple own it?
So why does he ride his bicycle home instead of driving his car home?
+Kevin P the car is leased. Temple is a place to park and wash the car. No safe place to park it at his house. He rides his motorbike home.
Very good
Hi..do you have the number for the driver.....i will be in hcmc..next month
So..will be great to use him...thanks
Hi Kyle, I will be arriving Vietnam Sept 5th, 2018 , for 2 weeks. I would love to have your drivers contact information. I do not have a face book account. How can we exchange info?
