Great, Marina! You have two wonderful hands...first of all because they are YOUR hands! Then because through those hands you can convey the emotions of your heart like no one else! Thank you for your sweetness... and for everything else! 💓🎹💓
Thank you so much for posting the replay here! This is so helpful to me, as my hands aren’t large, I can just about span a 9th interval at most, so thank you for demonstrating these creative workarounds for dealing with large chords .🎵🎹🎵
Just got a chance to watch this now. I also have small hands and was curious to see what your solutions were. Ends up I’ve been doing the same thing as you over the last 60 years. They all work well in different situations. Great video Marina. Wish I could watch your Tuesday videos live but I have something every Tuesday afternoon so will have to catch them all later.
I can't believe it - your hands look just like mine! (I always said I got my Dad's hands). I use all of these ways to play big chords, It's worse when there are several large chords in a row. But all these ways do work! I am 70 and still happily playing...and I really enjoyed your video! Thank you!
How to play big chords? Grow your fingers. My hands and fingers are so small that I also have problems with buying gloves. The fingers are always to long. Watching from the Netherlands. Thanks for this upload. On my channel I upload my progress. I've been playing for 14 months now. I've been doing all of the things you talk about, but in the end I threw my Chopin Mazurka in the trash and decided to do something else LOL What I also do is 'layering' when learning a song. I get familiar with the top notes and over time I add more notes to the chords.
I think our hands are about the same size. I have to use work-arounds a lot! That's why I made this video - to give pianists tools to use for their personal situations. 😊😊
Dear Martina, I fallow your videos all the time, I am learning now Canon D, difficult for me but I have the time. Please ,if is possible teach a very special song DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA , MY late wife loved this song and i wish i could play this song in her memory. Thanks Martina. Love your videos.
Thank you, Carlos! I'll put your request on my list, but no promises, as it's a very long list. I also responded to your email, please check your inbox.

Here for replay… I was born with long piano fingers can reach across 9 keys c-d on right and left hand BUT… I’m just learning how to read music… play by ear… just got an incredible piano..6’ Boston Steinway grand piano outfitted with a player system and a synthesizer… having a stop rail added to play just the synthesizer… come to my house in Boring Oregon… see my vintage pump organ… I play the Lord’s Prayer on it… my naughty Ragdoll kitties love climbing inside my piano… meeeeow!
Btw… I’ve always wanted to play the piano, but was told I was too stupid to learn. I failed every class, but I was being abused. That is why I couldn’t study her pay attention to my studies after I got my grand piano five years ago, I started taking lessons, and in three months I was playing.

Thank you Marina. Always encouraging not to be perfect, but to be human. Humans have emotions, algorithms no! ❤
Yes, Elisabetta! Making art is the most human thing of all, I believe.

Thank you so much for this Marina! It is frustrating to play huge chords with little hands. I am relieved to know these options.
You can do it!

I heard of the idea of using the thumb to play 2 keys at once, when I learned the Twin Peaks theme.
Yes, the idea is present in so many places!
I'm watching the replay from the hillbilly hills in Virginia.
I miss those hills!
How do you play F#A F#A with smalll hands and you can'r leave a note out?
