CSX Office Car Special on the Plymouth Sub 8-25-21

On a hot and humid Wednesday, just about every railfan in Michigan (and some from surrounding states) was on CSX to capture their Office Car Special on it's way from Chicago to Detroit. On board was the CEO, President, Vice President, and other executives. Seeing how the Plymouth Sub is one of CSX's more neglected lines, this was the first time the OCS ran over it in 7 years, and will likely be the last for a while. The trainset was painted earlier this summer in a B&O-inspired paint scheme, which was another huge draw for foamers. I first caught the train outside of Lake Odessa, where the engineer gave a unique Deuce hornshow (used both the emergency horn and standard horn). I chased the train to the outskirts of Grand Ledge, then continued to downtown Lansing. I caught him again at Fowlerville and decided to call it quits. Overall, the chase went to plan, and I had fun meeting and chatting with my fellow foamers. Enjoy the video, and thank you for watching!
