Aww looks so pretty, love the idea of going around buildings and things. Yep I am joining in, yesterday I cut all my pieces, wow that was a mission, lol still fun. Was thinking I would add in birds and maybe animals have a picture in my head went on your sight well had to have a look and you have little forest creatures that is a down load! lol something just became loads easier. Have a great weekend, enjoy your stitching and the coffee only adds to your piece, give its depth like the sun is shining on parts of the village sea side scene. Such a wonderful memory quilting aww exciting can’t wait to see how this will look at the end.
Thank you Paula, lm glad your creating one for yourself, it is definitely doable as it will take a year to complete and we will have a beautiful quilt finished. Hugs Susanna xx ♥️🪡🧵
Hi, so inspiring to see your memory quilt evolving. Why not leave the buttoned pocket open so you can include something inside, like a written note about the pieces you have chosen. I enjoy your videos, tfs.x
Love the teapot tea towel, it reminds me of the pottery company here in England called Wade and they do a whole series of teapots decorated as buildings, I have ‘Florrie’s Flowers’, they’re so cute - your quilt piece is looking lovely 💛🌼😊
I think that seam on the pocket is a French seam or a flat fell seam. They're used to fully encase the raw edges of fabric that frays a lot and on good lingerie. I'm guessing here because I watch on a very small phone screen.
Love how you painted that panel with the houses. so pretty !
Love that tea pot linen!!
Looking good ❤. Coffee happy accident too x
Lovely memories ❤

Here's me thinking the shading you'd done was awesome!
I'd call the coffee spill a 'happy accident' 🤭🤣
This is really going to be a precious keepsake! Beautiful!❤
Thank you Betty, did you receive my email with the photo of velvet fabrics? Hugs Susanna xx

Would it be easier using a quilting needle… they are shorter and finer ?🧵
