I used to drink smoke and do it all , once I put my faith and trust in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and got quickened, he removed it from my life . All praises to the risen Saviour Jesus Christ!

When the Lord convicted me of marijuana (had no idea what the Bible said) I repented! Immediately He took that desire away. And put a desire for righteousness within me. Praise the Lord! He takes away the heart of stone and gives us a heart of flesh.

I haven't smoked weed in almost 1 month. I'm 36 in few days and been smoking everyday since 14. Took a few breaks within those years, but finally trying to quit. The deception is very real. Evil hides behind pleasures and blissful moments and emotions.

I've resently got exposed to my selfishness and pride. Addiction is a choice. We get to choose what we become addicted to. May God expose our flesh and the evil one that tries to control and take advantage of it. In Jesus name we have victory over all. 🙌

Glory be to God we all wired different people expect to think like them when only Our God ,Jesus Christ ,can make the impossible possible.
Theyre weak to their flesh, theyre spiritually weak.
For some I think it should qualify as a disease. Some people do not have a chance when they're born into this life. I know that is a hard pill to swallow for some people, but I believe it whole heartedly. Oddly enough some people have more free will than others.
The funny thing is you don't even have to be addicted to something to have this pride, it can come through other forms of starting to do well in life and getting victory over previous addictions. That is what I have realised and I am guilty of this big time. Lord I repent of my proud and haughty spirit, please help me to be humble before I get humbled and fall. I had good intentions but just got carried away. Please help me to love as I am supposed to and to stop putting pride as a mindset before family and people. Forgive me lord I know not what I do 😓
Only accepting Jesus Christ as the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit working in us can change our hearts to want better things. I did a lot of heavy stuff until about 23 or so, kept smaller habits even until last year (nicotine is one of the worst, by the way, it crushes our circulation and it makes people angry). It's only by the grace of God that those things have been cut off. God is good.
Day 11 again - no weed - but this is the last day 11! Never going back because I finally softened my heart to realize in Christ I can do all things. And we need to be sober minded! Thanks Brother in Christ.
As a recovering alcoholic with almost 10 years of sobriety you are absolutely correct. We addicts are extremely selfish and full of pride. Our egos are huge. We refuse to humble ourselves. This is why rehabs etc do not work. One can only quit when they are ready to humble themselves and see themselves for who they really are. Many would rather die than do this.
As someone currently struggling this hit me hard. I believe God has revealing to me it’s pride.
Sometimes rehab helps people to see that they need to and actually humble themselves. And of course how to do it... Often a secular version but there is God in rehab if you want to find it.

There are over 16K rehabs in America and still the number of people who are still sober after 5 years is around 7%. The fact is that you have a better chance of beating stage 4 pancreatic cancer than staying sober. The rehabs are not working. It is up to the individual to stop. I’m fortunate to have 11 years of sobriety now. It wont work until the person is ready to make it work.

But if you ever are unlucky enough to go into certain state run rehabs you'll see how damaged some these people are...even before addiction. They need all the help they can get.
I've been going through the fight of my life with masturbation and I'm praying with everything I am for this yoke to be destroyed. I know with God all things are possible and just one drop of His precious blood and one ounce of His grace will give me victory in this battle for His glory and the testimony of His goodness.
My father has been sober for 26 years now. 🙌🙌🙌 but he missed all of mine and my siblings childhood because of alcohol. Please pray for his salvation. He is now 75 and still doesn't know Jesus Christ 🙏🙏🙏
I hear you. I missed out on a lot of my children's younger years and many other things and family events because I was that fool that kept running back to his vomit. May the Lord bless your father and I pray for his salvation in Jesus mighty name.
Pray for my husband to come home. He abandoned our beautiful family to smoke weed. I know my Jesus is bigger than some small weed plant. God you are bigger and able.

I've been there. Almost lost everything a couple of times in my foolishness, I'm just glad GOD didn't forget about me, and now I'm rebuilding my life through him. To be honest, I'm just glad GOD exists, I mean where could we have been and what could we have done without him? His ways are true, everlasting, and fulfilling. I love GOD, the Holy Ghost, and his son Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.

I've had many hurt me that are stuck in drugs alcohol and fornication.....its hard to get past those hurts and pray for them but I'm working on it. I hope anyone under the thumb of addiction and bondage get free.

@@jefferyepstein9210 can't get away. Physically it's not an option and neither is reconciliation. I struggle to let go of the continued selfish hurtful behavior because it isn't stopping anytime soon.

For all those who are addicted to sugar, bad food, soda etc... They cause all theses problems in their family because they are chemically off and brain is messed up. They develop personality disorders..

Even though the gov says it's ok because of medical reasons, it's not in Gods eyes. I have plate and screws in my neck from a spinal cord injury, so they push THC pills and cannabis. I looked up all you said and it all lined up. I pray many see your message. This system is leading many to the pit. Lol I even tried hiding from your videos, but they kept on talking to me. Yep we cant hide NADA from the maker. He is everywhere. I share these videos. And you are a Hebrew decendant of Christ, so I know that God shook up your world, to reach others also. I lost my family due to pornography addict I had for 20 years!
Even after I lost them, I was still looking and collecting porn think it's no big deal. Thinking if I just make the house that I lived in all alone look good..then my wife will come back....it wasn't so.
I thank the Lord my therapist I went to was a devoted Christian, and I thank the Lord she lied to me to get me to go to Celebrate Recovery. That's when I discovered who Jesus Christ is! And then instead of being addicted to porn, I was addicted to the Scriptures!
I still had my times of falling back into porn but OVERALL I wanted The Lord Jesus, and His ways...His speech, and His ways were so good and right that I couldn't live any other way or think any other way!
Got my wife and kids back after about a year without them.
What the devil pulled apart, The Lord Jesus outback together! Amen!
All glory goes to Him that sits on the Throne!
As for you brother, keep doing work for the Kingdom! For many angels are applauding you for your obedience to the Holy Spirit!

I was feeling the same way, but the Lord showed me that it's more about the haughtiness of acting as if everyone else around you is wrong and pointing fingers before admitting your own shortcomings and humbling yourself.

Sometimes an Addict needs more pain so they can realize they are in trouble. Some will pull out some will not. Its not any ones fault but the person who has made the choice.
I had to suffer and lost my family completely destroyed my family and split us up into pieces. I paid the price because I did not want to let go of my sins. Keep on praying for your son and at the same time he needs PAIN and a WAKE UP CALL FROM GOD.

The main reason I don’t mess with weed is because it opens the door to the demonic, including alcoholism, immorality and other addictions.
