Yknow that body mold hasbro made specifically for 97 rogue would be a perfect reuse for a Gwen Stacy, Mary jane Watson and Black Cat figures for the most part so yeah I hoped they take notes to that soon enough.
I wasn’t aware there were so many differences with this new version, but the more I see, the more I like it. The leg wrap things being molded on is so much nicer, and the new upper body looks great. Dang it, you might have sold me on this one haha. Great review!
Great review. I ordered this to fill in for X-men TAS. Happy to hear she'll fit for now. I hope the X-Men TAS VHS line continues and we get more TAS accurate versions of Rogue, Gambit, Beast, and Professor X. Plus a taller Magneto.
@@LosMSR That's disappointing to hear. It seemed like many of the VHS figures were selling out and had second runs, so I thought the line was doing well.
She looks def better than the previous ones for me, I didnt like the previous faces but this looks nice, they kept her curvey body and nice articulation, I just preordered her on Amazon!
I just bought the last Rogue they made, and it looks great (for a ML figure) and is.. pretty much the same figure. It's a shame they didn't add more hands and accessories this time.
The best Rogue by far is Marvel Select version, but I'm aware she is less curvy, this one of X-Men 97, that's really good version of animated series Rogue.

I'm a bit mixed with the new Rogue's face but seeing them side by side with the old ones, those eye gaps are funny.

That's not gonna happen, the line wasn't good sales for Hasbro. Retro could continue, but VHS is over.

Perfect besides the face
Because of you, I started Jada USF2. Now, I had to buy Marvels character because MvC... my wallet is suffering and it s your fault.
Best improvement is the newly molded legs but the proportions and overall sculpt on the older figures is still superior
The first rogue face is best. This new rogue should have had double Elbow

Smaller head made the proportion look better than the previous Rogues
The new Rogue is a miss. They head is too anime like and the hair looks fake. The logo is way too low. Storm is too short compared to Rogue.
