Just recently saw some recently produced material from you. I really like the way you explain ,, walk things through, as opposed to many others that try and cram too much in so little time. It gives people like me to follow on a second screen and apply your methods, without having to constantly go back and forth as much to apply your techniques on my FCP on the other screen. Believe it or not, at least to me, this way of introducing and instructing differentiates you from others. Wishing you much success in adding subscribers. I hope others see it the same way I do.
Seems like you could have sped up the mask key framing by key framing the transform of the mask, rather than continuously modifying several control points. You know, move the entire mask each video frame. That’s assuming that the edge of whatever you’re masking doesn’t change.
Yeah that would work if the transition across the screen stays uniform. In this case because the camera is also moving it didn’t work when I tried it before recording so I had to go frame by frame to keep it accurate. So I figured I’d just show how to do that to the audience. But most definitely in a lot of situations you can just key frame the beginning and end of the wipe and let it animate. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching!! ❤️
My friends, there are 2 kinds of People in this YooToob World. Those that JUMP In & those that DIVE in. This Guy is a DIVER & I'm DOWN with THAT as his Video's are always fun & informative. Now in FCP there are 2 kinds of Editors. Those that SKIM & those that SCRUB, & as we all know, ONE SKIMS in Final Cut Pro as the Playhead is a SKIMMER, but I will forgive the Dude on this One. Implementation of the Speed Ramp - Keyboard navigation tion/Shortcuts. I like to use the R-KEY by Momentarily depressing it while Clicking & Dragging the Cursor when Selecting a Range, which Eliminates the Need of changing from Selection TooL to Range tool & then Back to Selections TooL. The Magnetic Mask - The Navigation from Viewer to Timeline can be quickened by Hitting Command + 2 to bring the Focus back to the TimeLine. When Multiple Clips are Stacked Under the Playhead, then Hitting Control + Command + Up or Down Arrows to Select which Clip You want in the Stack of Clips in the TimeLine. Keep Up the Great Work O' Great Magnetic Masked Man : n )
Great question! I’ll experiment and find out. I would think it would be because if you analyzed the mask already then retimed the clip the mask would still be off. But I will definitely experiment and let you know.
Hope you like this video. Lots more coming soon. As always leave me some comments to know your thoughts and give ideas on what you'd like to see next.
Merci pour ces idées inspirantes. J'adore vos vidéos. J'espère que vous en ferai encore beaucoup. 😊

🤣❤️! Thanks for the shortcut tips! I should just do a video on shortcuts and force myself to learn and use them all. Hahahaha.
Is the magnetic mask timing issue a problem if you make it a compound clip before re-timing?
Great question! I’ll experiment and find out. I would think it would be because if you analyzed the mask already then retimed the clip the mask would still be off. But I will definitely experiment and let you know.
Also… while cleaning up those final frames. Can’t you just fix one frame and then analyze forward?
Possibly. I’ll have to go back and try. That would definitely save some time. I’ll experiment a bit.
The music, no need for it.
lol. I know. You don’t like the music. Hahaha. I like it though. 🤣
@@EmberdynFXok that’s your prerogative, I won’t keep following for that reason, but best of success.
