I like using a salvemaker/phantom build to setup a bunch of status effects and then recover the mp i used with compounding. Its what carried me through all the portal bosses especially when i went grinding for their weapons.
I learned a new thing with counter savy and turn tables that sounds great , I like to add instead of using Pictomancer you can also use Ranger and shadowbind foes to default for more moves but this one is amazing as well
I hoped this was something about Jhin from LOL, who is the Virtuoso. But maybe I didn't get the reference. xD Anyway, I achieved infinite turns by using the Bard on every party member as sub job (Gloria had main Bard), making them using the ability that lets you act right after the user (can't remember the name bc I played in italian lol). Dude, keep up the good stuff. Hope to see new videos soon :)
Phantom/Swordmaster build. Have Crit Amp, Critical Flow and Multitask and the other two passive slots are free for anything, though I prefer Frenetic Fighting and Surpassing Power. Don't forget to either have someone use Splatter/Elemental Supplement for weaknesses or stack Crit Chance with equipment. Set up Solid Stance and, if you're feeling like it, Ethereal Edge, and just spam 4x Attack and watch the numbers roll.
Instead of turn tables and counter savvy, I used Ranger's Who Dares Wins and Bastion's Critical Flow in my specific build. Since Phantom's first specialty makes you 50% more likely to land crits when hitting a foe's weakness and its second specialty guarantees effects that have a percent chance to activate, this guarantees you will get BP for attacking. If you equip a weapon with an element, then using daub and then an attack guarantees that crit and BP.
my team focused on Adelle as a full offense crit build I used Adelle as a hunter/beastmaster, giving her surpassing power, crit amp, sub specialty 2, who dares win (or raw power if you have enough crit), and brute force while giving her a bunch of crit boost buns. This allowed for very high stats from all the monsters caught thanks to the beastmaster secondary, and braving 4 times and hitting weaknesses would crit for big damage and refund her bp from the hunters ability. Seth's role was a tank. I had him as a shieldmaster/vanguard with sub-job bp saver, bp limit up, revenge, dual shields, and maximize hp. Basicaly he braved 4 times and used 3 gifts of courage and 1 defender of the people. This allowed him to freely give bp to the others because of subjob bpsaver while regaining bp due to revenge while guarding the others Gloria was a white mage/spiritmaster for healing and spiritbuffs, also giving mp to Adelle (with subjob bp saver spiritmaster) since Adelle burned through it so fast and I always hoard items in RPGs. She used subjob bp saver, revenge, mp regen, mp saver, and bp limit up. Seth often gave bp to her more than anyone Elvis honestly I did little with. He was black mage/spiritmaster but mostly secondary support with spiritbuffs and giving Adelle MP if Gloria was busy. I could never think of a good job for him so I just didn't
I actually have a build I titled "Princess Gloria the impregnable, defender of the people" The set up is: Shieldmaster (main) Freelancer (sub) Abilities: dual shields, The courage to resist, sub-job BP saver, sub-job specialty 2 (or concert mp if you don't have bravebearer), and auto guard. For equipment you want 2 hero shields for elemental resistances +2 (or your best two shields otherwise), your best heavy armor, and a safety ring and sands of time for stop, instant death, and doom resistances. This way the only debuff you are weak to is slow, which will not really hinder you at all. This set is almost never going to die. My Gloria at the end of the game had 999 in both defense and magic defense. This way in the battle you can use defender of the people to stop a lot of damage, or keep the rest of your allies at 1 HP to defend them constantly
i had swordmaster/vanguard equip two of the swordmaster portal weapons for 3x passive, second special ability activates vanguard second ability to increase your damage based on your chance of getting targeted abilities: indiscriminate rage, counter savy, critical flow, critical amp, brute force game plan is to go to -3 bp on turn one, activate solid stance and attack 3 times; it goes crazy I wonder how it would go swordmaster/ranger with all this attack spam and ranger barrage passive ohhh boy
I've tried this with bard instead of pictomancer, I put every enemy to sleep, brave 4 times, 3 of which is used to massively buff my allies and then I put myself to sleep in the last brave. Works so well and quite funny 🤣
I utilize one Phantom/Salve-Maker and another Phantom/Pictomancer One splatters and the other Jumbo Bombs to hell and back. Add in Dirty Fighter and Surpassing Power and BAM.
If I would submit my own build might I show off the Unbreakable Shieldmaster Sub-job Freelancer Sub-job specialty 2 Dual shields Maximize HP No Guts, No Glory Fast hands/Thrust and Parry/Revenge/BP Limit up pick your favorite Spam Defender of the People and Bodyguard Slap on a Ribbon and Safety Ring and you’re done. Now you have a tank that’s immune to all status effects (to my knowledge) and is almost immune to damage, DotP will only block 3 hits per turn and not AoEs but Protect Ally and Bodyguard will block absolutely everything so you can have an ally Phoenix Flight or HP/MP convert themselves to oblivion without any risk of retaliation except counters. The only thing I found that could take it out was Sir Sloan’s rematch when he does that 19998 hit. That’s gonna kill you but is easily fixed.
Choose your ailment the build Phantom/salve maker Passive abilities -Rewarding results 2 slots -Status cautious -Bloody minded (for high evasion enemies) - MP saver Sub Job speciality 2 if your using salve maker as main

I'm looking forward to more of these, I have been absolutely obsessed with this game!
I never would have thought to combine these two jobs along with Comeback Kid
This is so clever!! I can't wait to see more of these!
YES FINALLY BD2 BUILDS!!!!
I learned a new thing with counter savy and turn tables that sounds great , I like to add instead of using Pictomancer you can also use Ranger and shadowbind foes to default for more moves but this one is amazing as well
Great fun build this is the stuff I want to see! Thank you!
Have you ever tried bravebearer/bard? It went pretty well for me against portal bosses.
Bravebearer/Monk with Maximize HP pretty much carried me through the entire endgame.
I hoped this was something about Jhin from LOL, who is the Virtuoso. But maybe I didn't get the reference. xD

Heh, that was the minor inspiration for the build, so kudos to you

I was waiting for these
Glad I got it... crap how many days I have been WiFi downloading already??
XD
Now just combine this with red mage specialty and the dirty fighter passive
So many art styles!
XD

XD
i had swordmaster/vanguard
equip two of the swordmaster portal weapons for 3x passive, second special ability activates vanguard second ability to increase your damage based on your chance of getting targeted
abilities: indiscriminate rage, counter savy, critical flow, critical amp, brute force
game plan is to go to -3 bp on turn one, activate solid stance and attack 3 times; it goes crazy

This is not like the old days... IT'S BETTER
If you could, could you do a redux of your 4 Horsemen team comp?
That might be fun :)
@@RedNovaTyrant :D
If I would submit my own build might I show off the Unbreakable
Shieldmaster
Sub-job Freelancer
Sub-job specialty 2
Dual shields
Maximize HP
No Guts, No Glory
Fast hands/Thrust and Parry/Revenge/BP Limit up pick your favorite
Spam Defender of the People and Bodyguard
Slap on a Ribbon and Safety Ring and you’re done.

I feel like Bravebearer specialty 1 just does this even better without all the hassle, still good until you get it though.
Think you can make a bastion build?
Salvemaker build please.... ps thank you for your content
Choose your ailment the build
Phantom/salve maker
Passive abilities
-Rewarding results 2 slots
-Status cautious
-Bloody minded (for high evasion enemies)
- MP saver
Sub Job speciality 2 if your using salve maker as main
