I see Ryan and Esposito as Beckett's brothers - Esposito as her older brother and Ryan as her younger brother. Esposito looks out for both of them, and leans on Ryan occasionally like an older brother would.
You know what's interesting about her hair is the personality and character arc that goes with it. You see how much her hair changes along with her character.
This show will live forever because no matter how many times I go back to the beginning it is new again, all it takes is some stray random quote in the voice of Beckett or Castle to enter my head and I am smiling from ear to ear.

Castle... What can I say? I've seen breaking bad, house of cards, game of thrones, walking dead... List goes forever. One thing every show lacks, what Castle has, is, I don't know how to put in words, "Castleness" perhaps :) the way I look forward to every episode, laugh everytime just from the tiniest things, especially the facial expressions are hilarious, akward moments, romance between Castle and Beckett etc. This show has it all and long may that continue! :)

The expressions tells everything; attraction between Castle and Beckett, the way that Esposito looks Ryan sometimes and says something that annoys Ryan, but u can see from the expressions that they are best friends and they are just having a little fun. They don't need to tell the viewers that they were only kidding, everyone knows just how much they actually like one another judging by their expressions. It all starts with the eyes and it's not everyday when u see a show with such a talented cast. Most importantly the chemistry between everyone. I have watched shows where there has been only one character who I really like. With Castle I don't have a favourite, it's like ur family, u can't choose whose ur favorite becouse u love them all just as much :)
ErenceTT yeah they do use. Not as much perhaps. "House MD" is one of my favorite shows and it goes to show that expressions goes a long way when u do them right. A good show isn't just about the script, it requires good acting. Castle and House have managed to do that to perfection. When u can make someone laugh with a good expression, a show can't be bad. In some shows and movies everything feels so fake. They try but they don't get the "realistic" expression.

Mine started somewhere in the middle til the end and I was so hooked by the stories and actors that I was sad to see it end, only to see they restarted at the beginning. I googled to learn a bit more about the actors but found that the fantasy of their portrayal would be soured by the realities of the personalities, some who I read did not get along. Since it's fiction I prefer to live in the fantasy that these great writers and actors portray rather than to know the truth. Every episode is a 'mini movie' that could be shown in a theater. What makes this series so great is EVERYTHING; the writing, lighting, directing, sounds, cameras, clothes, etc. Not being an actor, I can only imagine all the behind the scenes people coming together each time. There's a definite rhythm that happens right from the start to the very end. For me each actor brings their own character to life. Each has a distinct personality, written for them and given life by each individual character, which together becomes this insanely scary, hilarious and sad symphony. It's as if the writers were tasked to hit each one of everyone's emotions every episode. To me it seems as if every actor puts their ego aside for the greater good. Thank you to all who made this series and to Lifetime for rerunning it.
well i'm obsessed both with Castle and Moonlighting, but for me no other (tv) couple can beat Bruce&Cybill ever! their chemistry is just unbelievable❤ - but Stana&Nathan are a very close 2nd😊😍
There may never be another show that has this kind of on screen chemistry with the entire cast and the story that it told again. It was such a disappointment to see it go bad like it did.
It got canceled because stana and lanie and later Ryan were going to or rumored to be let go even Martha was on the chopping block. Figured it would be better to cancel the show than go on without stana. The show lost its magic and it sounds like everyone was stressing out and overworked

Gawd I Loved the show but somehow after Marlowe left as showrunner the show went downhill fast. I heard of some behind the scenes troubles. I bought all the dvd sets of the first seven seasons but man season 8 was atrocious to watch. For me the show ended the the season7 finale
