taking our cat to petco (where the pets go!!!)

We took Kiko to Petco for the first time! I recently got him a harness and started taking him on car rides to get him used to the car, but he was an expert right away. I learned that when he was a kitten, he would go on walks with his family on a harness, so he’s used to wearing a harness and being outside of the home. We showed him the fish, mice, birds, food, and toy section of Petco. We saw another couple with a cat in a backpack looking at the birds and Kiko met her through her backpack. They complimented how brave Kiko was! He picked out a toy to bring home for Wes and Sadie…Wes’s fav feather wand. He used to have a brown and pink feather wand just like this and would carry it into bed to make us play with him. It had to be replaced so I got him the green and blue one, but he didn’t like it the same. Wes was SO excited and started jumping as soon as we walked in with it. He is super thankful to Kiko for going out to buy it for him ;).
