I was about to say... Why the mask filter if you're not going to turn the softness up and have it just in the area where the light comes from? That was what I expected - take the mask, put it over the window where the light comes from, turn the softness way up, then the window has a bloom glare.
That's a cool effect, Ben! Time saving tip: (I'm sure you already know this, but for everyone else!) Once a set of filters is chosen, and you like how they work, just click on “Save A Filter Set,” tab, give the filter set a name, for example, “Bloom.” Then, when you click on the '+' to add filters to a new clip, simply click on Sets. Open Bloom (or whatever name, from pre-saved filter sets). Those filters you chose earlier will open with your preferred preselected settings in place. This avoids having to reload every single filter each time in order to add them to a new clip. Or you can apply a set to the whole video by adding the Set to Output. Obviously, you can then adjust each filter within the set, which won't alter the saved Set. Or save the new settings as a new Set.
Nice effect. Thanks for sharing. I have a question though, what is the purpose of masking if you are adding the filters to the full frame? Am I missing something?
Thanks for the tutorial . I am still waiting for you to send me some of your LUTS from your luts video . If you wouldn't mind emailing them to me . I did subscribe
UPDATE: You don't need the Mask: Simple Shape filter. That should shorten the process a little

Agreed. I've already saved it as a filter set, but I want to show you what made up the filter set.
Good stuff, as usual. Thanks Ben.
Thank you! I appreciate the support

Thank you for watching! I'd love for you to subscribe if you haven't
I haven’t checked but if you don’t apply the mask simple shape, the effects will apply to the whole video, and not just the section you have masked.
You're right

You're right. For some reason, I don't know why I needed that mask

Can you resend the email to bentacular.one+1@gmail.com? It might've gone to junk.
c/p all filters from first to the second video would make the editing faster
