Hello Kevin, thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! I am always considering designing and building my own B-class van. Thanks for watching my videos! 😊
Hello Rich, Thank you for the compliment. I think I created some really neat modifications that will allow me to have a more enjoyable experience and maybe Thor will see them and start thinking about how people really use these RVs. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for all your videos, very helpful. Summers are long and hot where I am, so I got a white van, it stays cooler on those hot days. My van is the rear bath model with two beds (20L- 59k -2LB), I am tall and like the open floor plan. The new Ram as the 9-speed trans, and nice gas mileage for such a heavy load. Ram has a nice turning radius for a 21' van. I added a Wolfbox G900 Rear View Mirror Camera, a must. Also put on KO2 Tires and 1 ½ inch Owl Lift.
Hello, I love the rear bathroom floor plan too! The rear view mirror camera sounds like a great idea and the KO2 tires along with the lift are great additions. All definitely useful modifications. It sounds like you are very happy with your van and I wish you many fun and safe travels with it. Thank you so much for watching.
You did an awesome job with your modifications/add-ons. I always love to see what kind of storage people add on under cabinets, I like that drop down bin. Your van has turned into a wonderful home/office on wheels. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hello Adele, Thank you so much for the compliment. Over the next few months I'll get to really try out the whole mobile office. I'll be sure to post more videos on how well it works. Thanks for Watching!
Great mods Ruby. Wheels/tires look great, making the Sprinter look even better. I like the info on updating your lights from halogen to LEDs. Great hint about ensuring you adjust as needed. I've seen so many people on the highway that just install, drive and they are really blinding. Those simple, creative mods for the trash can, the cover for the bed and the additional bungie netting for storage. The additional mirror in the bath/shower, adds something so needed, and it looks great. Since I work from home now, I'm so impressed with the mods for the monitor/inverter setup you have. You have the perfect on the go office. Great video, keep it up. Love the look of your Sprinter!!!!
Hello Merlin, I have also been blinded by poorly installed LED lights so that is why I needed to mention that in my video. The idea behind my modification videos is to help people generate ideas around how they can solve minor issues within their RV's. More and more people are working remotely now ( working from home) and home can be anywhere. Why not have a mobile office and truly work from anywhere? I believe this is a trend and more and more people will be creating mobile offices. I'm glad you loved the modifications! Thanks for Watching!
Just got this bad boy two weeks ago and been enjoying it, looks go sitting in my driveway. I got the 2023 year model with lithium, its really nice to have. I’ve takin it to 3 day camping already to test her out and no issues so far. I’m very happy with my purchase, no regrets..
Hello Alex, Congrats on the purchase! Glad to hear you have already gone camping and got a chance to test everything too. Look for modifications that will make your camper more enjoyable for you. Thanks for Watching!
All great modifications. One that I did to my cellphone booster antenna was to put a foldable mount on the bottom of the antenna mast. This way I can lay it flat reducing the overall height and it keeps the head of the antenna safe. Laying it flat doesn't seem to affect the signal strength. Definitely a thumbs up 👍
Thanks for the compliment! The fold down is a great option but I purchased the magnetic roof mount so my antenna can be taken down as well when needed. Thanks for Watching!
Hello Dennis, I have made many modifications to my RV which has made my time in it that much more enjoyable. I hope you find some that you like. Thanks for watching!
Hello Ruby! Great videos. We purchased the Sanctuary 19PT in September and have employed many of your mods as the also work perfectly in our rig, so thanks for sharing. Wondering where you got the hanging foldout storage bin? Looks like a great storage hack! Thanks!
That is something I created myself using a bin I purchased from Home Depot, grommet tool to make the holes, and 4 adhesive hooks to hang it from under the cabinet. I then used a staple gun to ensure the hooks do not peel the laminate from the under cabinet wood. Let me know if you can not find the bin as I have extras. Thanks for watching!
I have a Thor Rize and just started looking at the Sanctuary 19P with lithium which is how I found this playlist. I fixed a bunch of things wrong with mine by myself too but haven’t been creative to make mods like you have. You make me need to take a fresh look at my Rize and see what I can modify! I know I won’t get trade in even close to what I owe so I probably won’t be able to upgrade anytime soon to the Sanctuary or Tranquility. But one thing I’m dying to know, how did you make the microwave work on the inverter without the generator? I hate that I can’t use just off of batteries. Thanks for sharing your ingenuity!
First off, Thank you for the compliment. I was able to run a wire from my TV outlet to the microwave outlet. I then disconnected the wires going to the microwave outlet (taped them up tight) and then connected the wire from the TV. The inverter is 1000 watts and the microwave is about 900 watts so the inverter can handle it as long as you are not powering anything else off the inverter while using the microwave. Thanks for Watching!
Hello Fred, I did video some of the installation but never did create or post a video of the installation. Is there something in particular you would like to see? Thanks for watching!
@@Adventure-Mom Hello Ruby, i just want to know how did you run the antenna wire from the outside to the inside of the van? Planning to install one too. Thanks!
Hello Aaron, I had to create my own mobile office and installed a Laguna table. Watch this video and you will see how I did it. ua-cam.com/video/Jg-uQSkvTDU/v-deo.html Thanks for Watching!
Hello Diane, yes I have addressed this as it was sticking me in the back as well. I tried adjusting the hinges and adding a washer between the hinge and the seat but that did not help much. Eventually I added 2" of foam into the seats and that really helped. I did create a video but never finished editing it. I'll see if I can dig it up and post it soon. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.
Hi there! Love your channel! Where did you get the couch cover, I have been searching and having a difficult time bc of the sizing of this bed/couch? Thanks!
Hello. I bought this same van due to watching your videos, so Thor should give you a commission. Lol. I've been waiting for a video from you about how you mounted your cellular antenna but hadn't seen anything yet. Can you tell me how you mounted your antenna and how the cable entered into the van? Thanks. Tom
Hello Tom, I had decided not to post the video but I can tell you that I drilled a hole next to the hole where the Wineguard enters the van on the roof (under the plastic cover) and then resealed the cover with roof sealant. I had to use a 12" long drill bit and the hole came through the upper cabinet. I then mounted the CelFi box under the TV and ran the antenna wire behind the wardrobe, through the cassette toilet area, behind the refrigerator and placed the antenna on the headliner shelf. Hope this helps. Thanks for Watching!
May I ask on your bed cover do you have two of them by chance? I am noticing when you lay it down it also covers the whole bed including the two side benches
