Thanks for being a great teacher. You really explain as you go along. Others on here dont explain as they knit and for us beginners we need everything explained to us, thats why we are watching the videos! Thank you, thank you, thank you, I love it when I am searching for something new to learn and one of your videos shows up in my search.
I just started learning to knit, and Ive made a couple scarves and im starting work on a blanket made of swatches. Im really excited to try this headband out! You’re such a wonderful teacher and I love watching your videos 💜
I knit on a knitting loom. I don’t really know how to knit on needles but love needle knitted cables. I was finally able to make them thanks to your video! I’m so happy and proud of myself... that doesn’t happen too often these days. Thank you soooo much for this video, it’s perfect 🙂
This is gorgeous! I love love your videos! I have been able to knit 'kind of' for years, but nothing extravagant, always maintained a 'beginner 'status. With your Rice Stitch Fingerless Gloves video, I can finally do a thumb! I am so excited about that! Cables too, I have wanted to learn forever! Can't wait to try this! Thank you for all your videos and your detailed explanations! I have learned so much!
That was really easy to follow! This is the kind of guidance I need with doing knitting. I made a nice purple one. So so easy, gonna make other things!!!
Really enjoy your tuts. I made this headband but used size 10.5 needles, with same yarn. The finished product was thinner band but just as cute. Thanks so much going to make some more. I have a difficult time finding headbands that fit right. This one is not tight.
You're so good at explaining how to knit. I literally couldn't wait to try my hand at this and already made one. Thanks for such a wonderful demo! Keep them coming pleease ;D
I've wanted to learn cable knit but it was tough to visualize. This is a perfect project to sort it out. Your cast on and bind off are really nice too. I can really picture the rows being created. Great video. (I've also got an ear infection right now and I'm all about keeping my ears warm!)
Love the headband tutorial but what I loved most is the amazing way you stitched the two sides together, it was something I was struggling with and you are the first i see doing this perfectly! I have one question, how would you do it for purl stitches? Like in a seed stitch pattern. Thank you!

Yes. It's normal to have that hole. That's where the stitches crossed. Now, this is mostly a braid. Usually cables are made crossing over themselves in one place, not in 3 different spaces. This is what cables really are: ua-cam.com/video/60pUDOsx4Yo/v-deo.html

That's a different story. You pick up the yarn for purls in the opposite way.

Great video! This is my first time doing a cable. Is it normal for there to be a small hole where the cable crossing happens? Thanks!
