@@ForgottenResources Telltale are most likely wanting to work on it more, but as they've said on their twitter multiple times, when the original telltale shut down, they lost some license to ips, and that includes minecraft story mode.
So if we want a season 3, either mojang give the ip back to telltale, or mojang can technically make it themselves

3 seasons will not be explained why. Firstly, Eric Stirpe said that there will be no season 3 with a 98% probability, and if it comes out, he will not be engaged in the game. Secondly, I agree with the opinion of the players about the fact that the 5th episode of season 2 turned out not to be ambiguous (to be precise, hinting at a continuation), but for a long time I was sure that there would be a continuation. After looking at it and thinking about it, I realized that this is the most "normal" end of the series. P.s if you want an explanation for why, put at least 6 likes on this comment. Thanks for attention.

You just wanted to know when they will kill the Witherstorm or when they will escape from the portal chamber or something like that. Here you want to know what will happen with the characters, what will happen to the town etc.

I honestly wished they brought back the games or just never made it so it vanishes from any stores. As a kid i loved season one and its DLC and i never got the chance to play the sequel of this masterpiece. Now i probably won't ever be able to get my hands on it.

Season 3 can only happen if mojang collabed with telltale. Mojang was busy with working on the nether update and probably didn't get time to work with telltale so that's probably why there isn't a season 3 at the moment
