Thanks for the review. I've been considering a Martin uke for a while now and had my heart set on the T1K but the StreetMaster looks pretty cool! Maybe it was the way the mic was positioned but the concert seemed louder than the tenor (?)

I'm very impressed by the round sweet sound of that OXK, despite being very clear and defined. Absolutely lovely in the fingerpicking demo ! Could I kindly ask what is the name of the piece you play in fingerpicking style ? I seriously consider buying an OXK as an outdoor uke for my walks in the forest or in the mountain but I'm not a huge fan of friction tuners. Are they easy to turn ? They are Grover, so I guess they should not be too bad...

Could you compare the Kia tenor with the mahogany tenor?

How's the action on that OXK concert? Mine came with super high action! Making anything past the 7th fret next to impossible to play! Everywhere I looked said it's pretty common for Martins to come with pretty high action? ...kinda sucks because now I have to pay some professional to lower the action for me and hopefully nothing gets damaged during the process! I've played 60$ ukuleles with better action.... I guess all that money goes into the name on the headstock! ...if you can't guess I'm pretty unhappy with my OXK 🤬

What's the difference between a streetmaster and the T1k uke?

1 is koa, and 1 is mahogany.
The streetmaster has friction tuners.
The build is the same i guess.
