Finding a new tiny detail that I've never noticed, and walking thru Hogsmeade with no one there, and being able to actually look at and hear everything.
Great video. I like Hogsmeade but when I first walked into Diagon Alley the first time I felt like I had stepped into the world of HP. Even after multiple multiple times in DA, I never get over the feels.
I totally agree with Anna about atmosphere in Hogsmeade. It's gorgeous for sure but it's so crowded that we feel rushed through and can't take the time we want to explore and hang out. If ever it calms down the experience would be so much better
In Hogsmeade, I feel like I'm in a theme park that is designed to try make me feel like I'm in the Wizarding World. In Diagon Alley, I feel like I am in the Wizarding World. Usually I would use the rides first to rank theme park sections but you just cannot beat DA, even with the lack of rides.
I love both but Diagon Alley always wins, in my book! It's the little details. When I can walk past the eel shop and smell fish (gross, but immersive) I know I have fully stepped into the Wizarding World!
The one “store” over in Hogsmede that stands out to me is the Owl Post. I love the owls everywhere and that you can send real wizard mail from there. But I also think Diagon Alley has a similar experience to that with the interactive money exchange.
My husband and I are Slyther-Puffs also. I'm 🐍 and he is 🦡. My favorite thing is walking through that brick wall and being transported into the books! Love watching y'all!
I really agree with Anna's comment about the stress of being in Hogsmeade. It always feels like wall-to-wall people in that area between Hagrids and Three Broomsticks. I thought on first instinct that I like Hogsmeade better due to the rides, but after really thinking about all of the categories, I think it's got to be Diagon Alley. The feeling of being in there is unmatched. I love that there's so much shade there and there is a lot more room to breathe. I think the Celestina and Beedle the Bard shows are miles better than the Triwizard or Frog show. There are double the amount of shops in DA compared to Hogsmeade, and the number of food options in Diagon Alley seal the deal for me.
Yeah its just too crowded! We wish they had had more room to give that area the justice and attention it needs! Diagon Alley is the great theming of anywhere in ANY theme park in the world! We can spend hours upon hours in Diagon Alley!
I may be biased since I was there when Hogsmeade first opened at IOA, but there's just something about seeing the houses, stores, tasting butterbeer for the first time and seeing the Hogwart's Castle is just the icing on top of the cake. 😍
Being biased is normal haha! That is so amazing and its awesome because now that all holds a special place in your heart! The castle can make a bad day go away!
Your guys’ videos are such a great escape for me, I wish you posted twice a day. As someone who has yet to take my first trip to Universal, I love immersing myself in videos and live streams to build the anticipation and gain insight. Like I would’ve 100% assumed that I would like Hogsmeade better because of rides and the castle. These little things I’m not able to think about because I’ve never been there, like space and quality of the shops, are extremely interesting to me.

This is definitely one of my favorite videos. The "who hurt you?" & Tyler just going 10 out 10 for both on drinks because both have Butterbeer had me rolling lol. I also agree with Tyler that Diagon Alley having soft serve Butterbeer ice cream is definitely a point in its favor lol
Thank you! This video didn’t do as well but we had a blast making it! Tyler is wild sometimes and I never know what he is about to say which makes the reactions genuine. Soft serve butterbeer ice cream is 😍😍!
@@ThePughTwo you're welcome! I love the genuineness in your videos. And yes Butterbeer ice cream is one of the best foods ever! (and I'm not even a huge ice cream person lol I prefer potato chips)
I love Hogsmeade so much! I don't know why. I also love Diagon Alley, but only one ride and very surprised you complained Hogsmeade is too crowded when Diagon is shoulder to shoulder half the time lol. Either way, loved this video! Thank you. Ps: Butterbeer special mention for lactose intolerant or vegans - you can only get the vegan non-dairy version in Frozen or cold (sorry, no hot, Ice cream or potted) and it can only be found at Three Broomsticks (Hogshead side) and Leaky Cauldron at Diagon.
I agree with your results. I think for me, the lack of shade in Hogsmeade is what really makes it feel so confined. The heat pulls me out of the emersion as you are surrounded by snowy roof tops while swimming in your own sweat. I could see spending more time there on cooler days. In early September, I found myself grabbing a frozen butterbeer in Hogsmeade but moving onto other areas of the park or hopping on the hogwarts express to hang out in diagon ally more often than not.
Haha we totally agree! It looks nice and cool, but it feels like a sauna! We love enjoying a butterbeer on the train. It’s the perfect snack to get you between parks!
Hey ! We just returned from a week at Universal. Our Super Star Shuttle driver told is a new Harry Potter land is coming to Universal! He said it will be Parisian (Beauxbattons?) and guests will travel by floo powder in giant fireplaces to the Ministry of Magic. He also said there will be a virtual reality quidditch ride ! I am PUMPED!
This was great! I didn’t know about the shows in hogsmead so I’m adding it to my list! I would be great to see two separate videos like this one. Where you guys sit down and use the b-rolls to explain things. A “Ultimate Guide to Hogsmeade” and an “Ultimate Guide to Diagon Alley”. Cause I’m trying to create my itinerary (so maybe a suggested itinerary you guys would do, thinking about early admission, which ride/thing to go first in which order etc). There’s so many things, Easter eggs, rides, etc. it’s overwhelming trying to remember them all! And piece them together from the different videos! So would be amazing to see it all out together in one video, for each of the locations! I would love to see that from you guys!
This is a great idea and something we will definitely consider! We have some videos coming about some of the easter eggs and things of that nature as well so we are excited to show you all that. Thank you for the suggestion!
For me, Hogsmeade definitely wins in the rides department. Even comparing just Forbidden Journey to Gringotts, I prefer Forbidden Journey. Everything else goes to Diagon Alley.
I prefer forbidden journey to gringotts too, but I feel like that's an unpopular opinion. Gringotts gets a ton of hype and we were so disappointed by it.
Its not for everyone and thats ok! We just love the story of Gringotts! The fact is Forbidden Journey is a still a world class attraction and its 12 years old!
@@ThePughTwo oh, don't worry, I love both of them! Lol. I will never forget the first time I rode Forbidden Journey how real it felt and just how different it was than anything I'd ever done before! Gringotts is great too though, just wish it was a bit more thrilling.
*Rases hand* I thought you were a Ravenclaw.😶 The answer is both. Like a child I will not choose my favorite. ETA: Clearly Dobby switched your butterbeer to prune juice.
Odd twist: Hogsmeade could be better (equal) if they would have reshaped Hogsmeade to have a true bypass by filling in lagoon when doing Velocicoaster. And making it a cul-du-sac like Universal Hollywood's version (wider, not a thruway, dining outside, did I mention wider). But.... I am guessing tens of millions to do that. If they rearrange Posiiden land, that might be a time to re-route traffic.
Hey Pugh Two! I really enjoy your UO vlogs! It's my favorite place in the world! I'm visiting from PA next week! Happy Mardi Gras to you! (OG Mardi Gras starts March 1st this year - I'm so excited) congrats on the channel growth and making fun content for us out of state APs :)
I totally agree with your assessments. Both are awesome, but I thoroughly enjoyed Diagon Alley more than Hogsmeade. Unfortunately I couldn’t ride most of the rides the last time I went, so I got to explore a lot while the rest of my family rode the rides. I found myself quickly looking for a place to sit in Hogsmeade, while I only sat once in Diagon Alley. That, of course, was to find some shade and drink a frozen butter beer.
"You are in a bad mood today." HAHAHAHAHA. I love it. I can agree to most of this. To be honest, the food options are a hit or miss for me. I used to love the patio of Three Broomsticks, but it's too loud now. We also have had cold food issues at both Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron, which normally, it is what it is when it's busy... unless, like our times, it was not! I think I love the look and atmosphere of Diagon Alley over Hogsmede, but I love seeing the castle. I would probably agree to these rankings for the most part!
😂😂. Yeah the food options really aren't that great in either. I love the fish and chips, but we also don't have access to that stuff here in Tennessee so it may be that. You really can't go wrong with either!
@@ThePughTwo Wait, what?! No fish and chips where y'all live?!?!?! You might have to come visit Fuina and I this summer and we will take you to some tasty places up here!
For the rides, I have to pick Hogsmeade. However, I also enjoy Diagonally more, there is a lot to see and you just want to spend more time there. Even the spells are more fun to cast in Diagonally
Forbidden journey used to be in 3D. (At least the one in CA. It’s the same ride.) I guess glasses kept falling off or something? It made it more immersive. But those projectors do need an upgrade.
I agree that Diagonal Alley has a bit of a leg up on Hogsmeade. If they could just do an expansion at Studios and get another ride in DA it would win hands down for me. Still love Hagrids though!
You should do a video on how you guys met that would be very interesting . I am guessing Anna was in a castel and Tyler rescued you from the evil dragon or lord fartwad 😁
I super duper agree that Hogsmeade can be a little miserable when it's busier. I love everything that is over there but I never would want to just "hang out" over there. In a lot of ways, it kinda of feels like reality. Every town has that neighborhood that you don't particularly enjoy but you still find yourself going because of 1 or 2 specific things. Diagon Alley is just the cool part of town I guess. 😎
i think it would be interesting to make a video on facts about universal that most people don’t know and it’s a good video to make when y’all aren’t in the parks. i’d like to know the history on some things or just certain easter eggs or other interesting things most people wouldn’t know.
@@ThePughTwo i was listening to the new official podcast for universal, and one of the VIP tour guides on the podcast said the lake in IOA has a different name for every land your in. i would’ve never known that.
I am so glad I am not alone in feeling like this about Hogsmeade. Its amazing and I want to love it, but the bottleneck with all the crowds is just miserable and I end up wanting to leave. :(
Depends on if you love rides or immersion. If it’s rides, you wanna be in Hogsmeade at IOA. If you want full immersion, we would got with diagon alley in US.
Wait wait wait I’m so confused! I thought Tyler was a Ravenclaw! And also, I’m a heathen 😅 Hogsmeade is my favorite. I think it’s because I can see the open skies (diagon makes me a bit depressed because it’s always dark and shadowy). And also at Hogsmeade I will ride forbidden journey multiple times a day because I love going into the castle and I love that ride.
Lol he’s a ravenclaw, but he wants to be a Slytherin 😂 we can see that, too! Diagon was made to be shady to help with the heat in the summer. We love riding forbidden journey over and over, too!
Not overly relevant to this video… but my wife and I are currently at Universal Studios for the week.. 2nd trip for us.. first time getting the chance to ride Fast and Furious.. all I’m gonna say is that I understand Tyler’s feelings toward it… oh.. and just enjoyed a frozen butter beer 😀
I was going to set up a trip to Disney and Universal but everything was TOO expensive and they took away all immenities and courtesies. It was cheaper to stay at Universal and then go to Disney. I'm going to wait for things to calm down before I try again. The parks are also TOO crowded 😐
It is crazy how busy the parks have become over the last month or two! We totally understand and we hope you get to book that trip before too terribly long!
Diagon alley is the best immersive experience. First time walking in I was blown away at the detail and beauty. I do love Hogwarts Castle. Diagon alley does win out.
Yeah this actually makes a lot of sense! You go into Diagon with a purpose, but Hogsmeade is kinda a place to get to another place as well as being a destination!
Hogsmeade: has Hagrid's ride, Hogwarts, Hog's head, 3 broomsticks, and Honeyduke Diagon Alley: has Escape, Madam Malkin, Borgin Burkes, Leaky Cauldron, and Weasley's shop Hogsmeade has the better food options and rides Diagon Alley has the better shops so the question comes down to what you're feeling at the moment
Umm probably not because they each have specialty drinks that we truly enjoy! Diagon has the Tongue Tying Lemon Squash and Hogsmeade has the Pumkpin Fizz!
Couldn’t agree more with everything 100%! We just got back from our first trip there (HUGE Potter fan) and noticed everything you said! I honestly thought it would be the other way around because of Hogsmeade having the castle but Diagon Alley definitely has my heart!!
I'm not a ride person but the castle sounds like something I'd love. You've mentioned you can just walk around without going on the ride (in the "queue") but how much do you really see? Also, can I buy my tickets the night before (I'm planning on going tomorrow), do they ever get sold out?
The castle is amazing! Its such a fun experience even if you don't ride! You can see basically the entire thing. They have been less willing to let people do that recently because of the protocols in place but we highly suggest asking!
For food, I prefer 3 Broomsticks. I love the Great Feast, as it says it feeds 4, but could feed easily more. Also, Hog's Head has actual bartenders, so you can order The Triple there, and it's not available in Diagon. Although, they have really tried for me. ❤
Honestly, my favorite ride or attraction in the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is the Hogwarts Express. They perfectly captured the look of the train, and it works both as a ride and as a form of transportation, which isn’t easy to do.
This is the perfect way to explain it! We feel like we are THERE every time we step into Diagon.. if only we could get rid of a few of the muggles that are there.. 🤣
The correct answer is the best one is the one that is closest to you. I am with Anna you have not lived till your in hogsmead during the rain and people are just laying down next to the buildings like homeless folk cause there is such little protection and its a giant choke point. I dont think the butterbeer cart could be in a worst place we only tolerate it because it sells pure goodness.
LOL Yeti you always crack us up! In all seriousness.. we hadn't really thought about the placement of both carts really til you said that.. they cause such a traffic jam both on the bridge and right there in the middle of Hogsmeade.
I have not ridden Tron Lightcycle Run, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, or Hagrid's Motorbike. But I hope to at some point. But I have ridden Avatar Flight of Passage and Soarin' Around the World which are 2 of my favorite rides. I have ridden Gringotts and the Forbidden Journey. Is Hagrid's still your favorite ride now that you have been to Disney's 4 parks?
For me it comes down to Diagon Alley being someplace I'll go to be comfortable. If the park is crowded, hot, rainy, or otherwise uncomfortable I can duck into Diagon Alley and find respite. Hogsmeade, by contrast, is a crowded, impassible, solar oven and rain collector. I love the magnificent castle, Hagrid's is the most awesome ride ever and the only ride ever built anywhere that I will wait for 2 hours and still be happy I did. But Hogsmeade is just not a nice place to be in the park. I mean, I will duck out into Jurassic Park, not exactly an oasis of comfort, just to get out of Hogsmeade.
You put our feelings perfectly into words! It honestly makes us sad because we want to feel like we do about Diagon Alley with Hogsmeade, but it's just hard to be there!
I’m gonna say one of her kids parents peed in her cheerios. Lol But does Hogsmede really deserve better? Mrs. Pugh had it right when she said it’s so claustrophobic it makes you want to leave. Aside from the Hogwarts Castle itself bc there is a teeny more room back there and come on it’s freaking Hogwarts. And that shop is the best inside of Hogwarts. The women is correct, no matter how spicy of a mood she was in.
Lol she 100% had it right, but you know I had to give her a hard time! Diagon is better for sure. We really wish they had been able to make the area like twice the size that it is so that it wasn't such a disaster!
Okay, question for you guys and anyone else that has an opinion. We are coming from the UK for the first time late August. Staying off property, no early entry. 10yo massive HP fan. 6yo pretty solid fan and me and my wife also fans but not die hard. My original plan, for our first day at Universal, was to to to Universal Studios first. Head straight to Diagon Alley, and do Gringotts before then taking the Hogwarrs express over to islands of adventure. This was my plan based on replicating Harry’s first journey to Hogwarts etc. however, as there is more attractions at Islands, is that a mistake? Should we look to go early to Islands first, to try and get more rides in early in the day? Thoughts?
Hey there! We love the idea of recreating the movies/books and its something we do ourselves quite often! We would say do it however you want. If you had early park, it might make a difference, but without it, you won't really be missing anything by starting in studios as long as the weather is ok!
Thank goodness for the train so I don't have to choose, I just consider it one world. Now is Harry Potter better than the rest of Universal.........yes!
Tyler... are you wearing a SLYTHERIN robe?!?!? I thought you were a Ravenclaw!?!? Was it YOU who peed in Ana's cheerios in your Slytherin robe? 🤔 I'd be pretty upset if my husband all of a sudden became a Slytherin 🤣🤣🤣
Why don't you guys try Disney Japan i heard that's a lot more fun .When you guys have kids you will be the funnest parents ever ; your kids will never go to school they will be on hangrids motor bike all day 🤣
So would first thing in the morning, like early opening hour be the best time to go see Hogsmeade or later in the day? Or is it just busy all the time?
Hagrid’s is not a better ride than VelociCoaster. They are both roller coasters. Hagrid’s hurts your back if you’re riding the motorcycle side. It has very little thrills to it. It’s a family coaster. It’s themed to the hilt, even more than VC, but there’s no coaster enthusiast in the world that thinks Hagrid’s is superior to VC. Harry Potter enthusiasts love their immersive complete experience on it, but it’s not a thrilling or intense coaster. It might be the best ride experience for little kids, but they aren’t tall enough to ride VC. Your bias towards anything HP clouds your reviews. If Hulk was your favorite superhero and you claim the Incredible Hulk coaster was better than Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point, no one would take you seriously!
Hagrids is a much better RIDE than Velocicoaster.. it is not however a better roller coaster. We have ridden some of the best coasters in the world.. they are great coasters, but that doesn’t make them the best ride. Steel Vengeance was fantastic and certainly a better coaster than Hulk and Hagrids. Hagrid’s is still a better ride in our opinion.
@@ThePughTwo By definition the ride is the coaster. You’re talking about the total experience from queue line to theming and how it all makes you feel. That’s your experience on that ride… not the ride/coaster itself. I’ve ridden almost every coaster in the US and Hagrid’s isn’t in my Top 50. Coaster enthusiasts don’t even consider Hagrid’s an exceptional experience. They do with VelociCoaster and Iron Gwazi (which will be my 600th coaster credit next week). It’s the Harry Potter fan in you guys that overrates the Hagrid’s coaster experience. Hagrid’s can’t be the best ride at Universal because it’s not even close to being the best coaster. You can have a sentimental favorite ride that isn’t better than others, but you still love it more. I know HP is your passion ( and Butterbeer! ) and you see everything in that IP with rose colored glasses…and you should defend your passions.
Whats your favorite thing in the Wizarding World?
Okay. But Hagrids!
Butterbeer
Butter beer and people watching, loved it. Oh and there was a great sit down restaurant, no sure on the name but it was very fun and tasty
My favorite thing is turning that corner, hearing those bricks and being welcomed by the bustling sounds of Diagon Alley.
Finding a new tiny detail that I've never noticed, and walking thru Hogsmeade with no one there, and being able to actually look at and hear everything.
I love Diagon Alley. It makes me feel like I’m in a secret area. It’s just special.
It does feel like your in a different world! We both remember walking in there for the first time and getting super emotional!

Yeah it really is way to small for such a popular area! We would love to be able to visit a nearly empty Hogsmeade for a day!

Yeah it truly is special! Its the most interactive and immersive land that has ever been built and we miss it every time that we leave!

The owl post is pretty pricey though
It is for sure!
The owl post and the money exchange are two things WE LOVE doing and we feel like they get lost in the mix!

It’s the cream of the crop!

I prefer forbidden journey to gringotts too, but I feel like that's an unpopular opinion. Gringotts gets a ton of hype and we were so disappointed by it.
@@Controller-Cassie it's definitely one of the best rides in Studios. However, I was expecting more rollercoaster portions.
We love them both but for different reasons! We agree Hogsmeade is unbeatable in the rides category!
*Rases hand*
I thought you were a Ravenclaw.😶
The answer is both. Like a child I will not choose my favorite.
ETA: Clearly Dobby switched your butterbeer to prune juice.
I am a Ravenclaw! I just have multiple robes and had never worn the Slytherin one before! Lol Dobby up to his tricks again!
Ummm just for this I’m going up there this weekend
Lol we are jealous! We will be there soon though!
Hey guys I love your videos it so cool, I love both Park it so cool!
We can’t wait to be back! Thank you so much for watching!
Any part that sells butterbeer obviously 🤣😂
hahaha yessssssssss!
Hahaha of course!!
This is an awesome idea though and probably explains a lot of the issues with crowds! We would love it if they would have made it that way!
Thank you so much!! It such an amazing place to visit. Thank you for the kind words and we hope you have an amazing time!
Diagon Alley I feel is so much more authentic to the movies! It’s so detailed and you really feel like you are in diagon alley!
We couldn't agree more! Love Diagon so so much!
Diagon alley is absolutely my favorite area!! I could spend all day there!
We could too! It’s the best!
Hopefully, the Fear Factor Live area will become a new Potter ride for Universal.
We would love that!
We spend a lot more time in Diagon! We have a blast in both, but if we were to time it, we spend AT LEAST double the time in Diagon!
@@ThePughTwo Truth!
Yeaaahh that was mine question. Thank thank thank u😍
Thank you for watching!!
For the rides, I have to pick Hogsmeade. However, I also enjoy Diagonally more, there is a lot to see and you just want to spend more time there. Even the spells are more fun to cast in Diagonally
This is basically the boat that we are in!
Forbidden journey used to be in 3D. (At least the one in CA. It’s the same ride.) I guess glasses kept falling off or something? It made it more immersive. But those projectors do need an upgrade.
Yeah we would love to see them be able to do something drastic with the video in there!
I agree that Diagonal Alley has a bit of a leg up on Hogsmeade. If they could just do an expansion at Studios and get another ride in DA it would win hands down for me. Still love Hagrids though!
Yeah we just wish Hogsmeade was bigger and wasn't always so crowded!
Bonus atmosphere points for Moaning Myrtle in the restrooms!
Lol we do love Myrtle!
You should do a video on how you guys met that would be very interesting . I am guessing Anna was in a castel and Tyler rescued you from the evil dragon or lord fartwad 😁
Haha we have talked about it a few times and its way less interesting haha!
You know.. wherever I can get my REGULAR Butter Beer faster, that's which area is better. The Curse is rEaL!
Lol it’s okay that you enjoy the third best butterbeer the best 🤣
I super duper agree that Hogsmeade can be a little miserable when it's busier. I love everything that is over there but I never would want to just "hang out" over there. In a lot of ways, it kinda of feels like reality. Every town has that neighborhood that you don't particularly enjoy but you still find yourself going because of 1 or 2 specific things. Diagon Alley is just the cool part of town I guess. 😎
Lol we love this description!
i think it would be interesting to make a video on facts about universal that most people don’t know and it’s a good video to make when y’all aren’t in the parks. i’d like to know the history on some things or just certain easter eggs or other interesting things most people wouldn’t know.
We love this idea! We will put some stuff together and see what we can come up with!
@@ThePughTwo i was listening to the new official podcast for universal, and one of the VIP tour guides on the podcast said the lake in IOA has a different name for every land your in. i would’ve never known that.
@@ThePughTwo also, im going into the parks in july and would like to tell my family an interesting fact about the attractions we go on.
I am so glad I am not alone in feeling like this about Hogsmeade. Its amazing and I want to love it, but the bottleneck with all the crowds is just miserable and I end up wanting to leave. :(
Yeah you definitely aren’t alone! We wish it wasn’t such a mess but they only had a limited amount of space so we get it!
Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching!
Hogsmeade for thrills. Diagon Alley for immersive experience. Hagrid's is the best. And butterbeer (which you can get in both!)
Exactly our thoughts! As long as you have a butterbeer, can it be bad?
Hogsmead has the bathrooms with Moaning Myrtle
We love hearing moaning myrtle!
Completely agreed on diagon alley.. and not loving hogmeade as much.. too crowded.. we grabbed a butterbeer and ran to Jurassic park lol
We do the same! The only place we can stand to hang out is on the bridge!
I can spend all day in Diagon Alley! Hogsmeade, I’m good after a few hours.
As far as who peed in Anna’s Cheerios…I suspect nargles are behind it.
Yeah when you sit down and think about it, it really is a shame that there wasn't more room for Hogsmeade! Lol nargles are always messing things up!
If someone hasn’t ever been to the Wizarding World and could only go to one of the parks which would would you choose?
Hogsmeade does get congested and I get the same feelings like I want to get out of that area too!!
Its such a bottle neck! Even when its not that busy, that area is always super crowded!
The next attraction has got to be ministry of magic!!!
That would be so amazing!
@@ThePughTwo I know right! Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏽
I have been to Hogsmeade more and I want to ride Hagrid’s so I guess I’m voting for IoA.
Haha Hagrid’s is hard to beat!
I don't even like Harry Potter but Diagon Alley wins in all aspects except rides. I love Forbidden Journey, stop hating lol.
We ride forbidden journey AT LEAST once a day everytime we are there. We love it, just wish the 3d aspect was better!
Diagon alley is the best immersive experience. First time walking in I was blown away at the detail and beauty. I do love Hogwarts Castle. Diagon alley does win out.
Yeah.. we both cried the first time we walked into Diagon Alley.. you feel like you are there!
The only problem I have with Hogsmead is that it is a pass through land that makes it more crowded, and Diagon Alley isn't
Yeah this actually makes a lot of sense! You go into Diagon with a purpose, but Hogsmeade is kinda a place to get to another place as well as being a destination!
You forgot the Jacket Potatoes!!!
Haha those are outside of Diagon!
Hogsmeade has easier and quicker access to butter beer.
It does with the butterbeer carts for sure!
Hogsmeade: has Hagrid's ride, Hogwarts, Hog's head, 3 broomsticks, and Honeyduke
Diagon Alley: has Escape, Madam Malkin, Borgin Burkes, Leaky Cauldron, and Weasley's shop
Hogsmeade has the better food options and rides
Diagon Alley has the better shops
so the question comes down to what you're feeling at the moment
They both have so much to offer! We agree, it depends what mood you’re in!
Awesome video as usual! If you took out Butter Beer (since both places have that) in the "drinks" category how would that change your score, if any?
Umm probably not because they each have specialty drinks that we truly enjoy! Diagon has the Tongue Tying Lemon Squash and Hogsmeade has the Pumkpin Fizz!
Couldn’t agree more with everything 100%! We just got back from our first trip there (HUGE Potter fan) and noticed everything you said! I honestly thought it would be the other way around because of Hogsmeade having the castle but Diagon Alley definitely has my heart!!
Thank you so much! As Potterheads, you love both, but when you leave, part of you stays with Diagon Alley 😍
Ummm.... Hogsmeade has beer tho. And it gets extra points when the death Eaters are out
Diagon alley has beer as well! And diagon has the ultimate death eater.. Voldemort! Haha
We haven't had that yet but we are up for a challenge 😂. We also havent had the Triple.. are we bad theme parkers??
@@ThePughTwo Wellllllll...coming from someone who hasn't had Green Eggs and Ham tots, I don't think I can comment on that.
Honestly, my favorite ride or attraction in the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is the Hogwarts Express. They perfectly captured the look of the train, and it works both as a ride and as a form of transportation, which isn’t easy to do.
It is so under appreciated and it’s one of our favorite attractions period!
Absolutely loved both but Diagon Alley is very special! It transportive to me . I really really felt like I was in the Wizarding World !
This is the perfect way to explain it! We feel like we are THERE every time we step into Diagon.. if only we could get rid of a few of the muggles that are there.. 🤣
Hahaha down with the muggles !!
For theming Diagon Alley but Hogsmeade for rides
That’s extremely accurate!
It is! Rise of the Resistance is the best overall experience, but if you're only talking about the ride, Hagrid's is still better in our opinion!
I’m probably gonna spend most of my time at diagon alley
We can’t blame you, it’s amazing!
I think when we go, the park closes at 5pm and HHN will be going on some nights. Will they still have the light show on Hogwarts?
So HHN is held in Universal Studios so only that park will close early on those nights! Islands will remain open later on those days.
Haha we love it! Great answer!
Kreacher! Leave Anna’s Cheerios alone!!!
It had to be Kreacher!!
Tyler... are you wearing a SLYTHERIN robe?!?!? I thought you were a Ravenclaw!?!?
Was it YOU who peed in Ana's cheerios in your Slytherin robe? 🤔 I'd be pretty upset if my husband all of a sudden became a Slytherin 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂 he’s always tested a mix of Ravenclaw and Slytherin, so he decided to get a Slytherin robe on our last trip.
@@ThePughTwo ahhhh... I understand. Anna, has this affected you?!? Or is it OK bc you've known that he has both qualities?
@@jamielester9984 Luckily no! He is a one of the good ones haha!

Hi Anna, I have a quick question. Is your bf a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw? I noticed the robe change
Haha Hey Kailey! Tyler is a Ravenclaw but has the Slytherin robe and wore it basically to see if people would notice!
Hogsmeade is my favorite. They got good shows also.
The castle projection show is amazing!
@@ThePughTwo yes it is. I got to watch it on my bday 2 years ago
Does the hogwarts light show play every night ?
No its typically somewhat seasonal but when the parks are open after dusk, you can catch the show most nights!
Lot of spells don’t work in hogsmeade which is disappointing
They can be really hard to trigger sometimes!
It should be named Weesleys wizards weezes wee wee willy wash wow waa wee waaa🤣
Lol talk about an alliteration! 😂
Also, what the heck is this curveball?? I thought Tyler is a Ravenclaw…
Haha I am! I do test Slytherin from time to time so I had to get a robe right??
@@ThePughTwo Ahhh yes, I believe I remember you talking about that in one of your older videos. Heck yes you had to get a robe.
No loser in this battle, IMHO.
Not at all! How could there be?
Why don't you guys try Disney Japan i heard that's a lot more fun .When you guys have kids you will be the funnest parents ever ; your kids will never go to school they will be on hangrids motor bike all day 🤣
We would love to visit Japan and go to all the parks! Seriously that is a huge dream of ours! Our kids would be fat because of butterbeer too 🤣
@@ThePughTwo 😆you guys are awsome would love to meet you one day

First thing in the morning id always going to be your best bet!
@@ThePughTwo thanks
