when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. that is why i bring you a june TBR that quickly turned into a very chatty video about the books i want to read this month, me making a TBR jar and cart, and losing my mind over some of the new book releases of 2024. booktube and tiktok have buzzed about these books… let’s see if i’ll enjoy them! i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with one more book to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2024!

🧠 I really liked the Thursday Murder Club, definitely a cozy mystery! My June tbr currently is:
- Blood Over Bright Haven (I *will* finish it this month!)
- I’m Glad My Mom Died
- Beowulf
- Murder Past Due
- The Priah
Funny Story is def a favorite for me this year! Like at first I was like que que?! But then reading it-it all makes sense 🥲 and i love it. But you have a great tbr stack! I am currently reading Breasts and Eggs by Mikeko Kawakami!
I just finished one dark window. I fell in love with the writing. Excited to see your take. Ive seen very mixed reviews.
Can only highly recommend listening to the audiobook as well for The Thursday Murder Club! It’s sooo good! ❤

Warning: Shadow of Night isn't slow because of the historical aspect, but because we get stuck with the same relationship arguments again...and again...and again... There was still some interesting historical information, and some of it CAN drag on, but for me personally, it was the romance aspect that slowed it down for me.
