can you imagine going through that hell and then after escaping being told that no crime was committed against you, and having to live every day for the rest of your life knowing that your abuser is not only walking free, but actively praised and glorified for what they did to you. it makes me furious, sad, and sick to my stomach.

The especially shitty thing is that a lot of those people are other men. Obviously this isn't every man that is like this, but there are a large number of especially older men who will make fun of male assault victims and say shit like "oh man, that sounds awesome!"
It really sucks, because we're made to feel like we don't have an actual support system.
Edit: I realized the wording in this might sound like I'm a victim, thankfully I'm not. Meant to say that men in general don't have a support system for this kind of thing.

Especially since back then so many people didn't believe men could be sexually assaulted. Even now, his kidnapping and assault is all about his attacker not about the victim. For some reason we perpetuate this idea that straight men are supposed to always be up for sex by any female at any time. Some women will call you gay if you dont want to have sex at the drop of a dime (with them obviously). Like no, it doesn't work that way for every dude. Not all men are whores. And that reminds me, why dont we call men whores like we do with loose women? Im not saying men and women double standards shouldn't exist completely, but some double standards are really pointless and harmful to relationships.

Sometimes I'm not interested enough in a topic or title of a documentary video to sit through 30 minutes to an hour, so I'll skip it, but I'm willing to invest 10 minutes if I think something sounds interesting. This video is a perfect example. I'm not going to watch an hour documentary on a person I've never heard of, but the title and the length of the video were enough to get me to watch.

I just watched the documentary last night and was blown away! She actually reminds me of a girlfriend I had in 95-96 and have been after me since and she’s very pretty. She would start fb accounts to just get in touch with me with only a few friends and not that active on her page. Then around 2005, she was living with this rich guy that supported her and was in love with her. She made up stories of how she was being abused and wanting to look for a job in SF and if she could stay with me. Well, I went for it thinking it may work and I was single for a bit. Well, we fought like cats and dogs and in about a week I told her she had to go.
So left with only $20. that gave her and was homeless and didn’t know anyone to help her. She called me a few times and said she was staying at a church. I asked why she not going back home bc she comes from a rich family in Houston and her grandfather was once the country club president. She said she wanted to try on her own to live in SF. Oh I forgot, when we were together the first and she was only 21 and had a thin frame with the right curves. She hated other girls that were strippers. But during the time we were not in touch, she became a stripper for the easy money and to support her speed drug habit.
So, the guy she was living in Houston, found her and came out to fly her back to Houston. So we didn’t speak for about 6 months and I had roommate trouble for 4 months and was trying to evict a new psycho roommate that locked me out of my apt. and refused my mail and wrote no longer lives here or sent back.
Anyway, when I recovered my apt. I got a stack of back mail and one was from her. It said she just wanted to let me know that she had my child. That her brother who couldn’t have kids ended up adopting. She said she wanted nothing from me from me and just wanted to let me know. So I took in the new found news and took it all in. Then I said bull crap bc we didn’t have intercourse and was fight in that whole week to even have sex. Yeah, I got a few bjs from her and she offered to give me a free strip tease that she hoped to end up with sex. But she got frustrated bc I was like what’s with the stripper moves??? So I called her and told her it’s not my child and we didn’t have sex like she imagine it to be.
Oh and she used to carry a book that she covered in a t shirt to protect. I never asked her what that book was or look at the book. So I asked the guy she was living with, bc we both got connect to find her when she was staying at the church and all alone in SF. I asked what was that book she was carrying and he said it was a Russian dictionary. He also said he took her to Russia twice, but she denied ever going there. Oh she was a big time lover and another thing I got so tired of.
Imagine being truly loved so beautiful and someone who would do almost anything for you and should be a dream come true for most men and I don’t even need to be rich and I’m Chinese and she’s white. But being with someone so extreme was hard to have a relationship with and I’m sure I can get her back bc I’m the love of her life and she truly loves me. She sees something in me that she can’t find in others, so I guess I should be flattered.
I actually met other beautiful women with these eccentric traits and something happens to them as they age. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but bc I went through this a few times with girlfriends, I pick it up in women pretty quickly. They are normally the ones that’s being asked out, but I don’t really ask girls out and that intrigues them and they have no clue on asking men out and it’s somewhat onward for them to show their vulnerability.
