Mate this is so sick, especially hearing the backstory from the podcast of waiting to see the crowd until the curtain drop etc. Awesome to see you killing it dude
Jesus Eddy, I've been blown away by everything I've seen you do. It's like you grab a pair of sticks, and all of a sudden, you begin to play in a way that is my absolute dream way of communication with the band, with the crowd.... it just begins to flow out of you over those sticks and pedals. You may know of your little fuck ups here or there, but to me.. you just seem to nail every groove, breakdown , fill and polyrhythm and subdivision. And it's phenomenal man. I am a huge fan of your drumming vocabulary, Your down-to-earthness, and I wish you nothing but the best man. LOVE YOUR PODCAST WITH MIKE!!!!
Tight and solid, Eddy. those birch/walnut toms sound incredible! I love the "clown vomit" finish... (my name for it) Have you used the Dynasync on the road yet? I'm looking to retire a DW9002 for them, just don't have a local shop to give them a test drive. played a Tama Titan DD pedal in the 80's and loved the instant response... wishing you an amazing year of wonderful new adventures! Peace
What do you have in your in-ears? The delay you can hear from the audience singing just before the last chorus would probably pull me out of time without a click or something.
I can't even imagine how it must feel to hit that kick drum in this arena.
You only hear what is in your ears. Quite different to what it sounds like out front.
Absolutely love this guys feel ' top control over everything hes doing

Absolutely without a doubt Eddie is a huge fan of Stewart Copeland, Carter Buford and Dave Weckl
I got see you play this with Busted yesterday at the O2. A killer performance, you're a drum beating machine.
