- This was one of the first occasions when the choir could not contain the Spirit, 'cutting' a quick shout on television and radio. The late Evang. Daniel Shorter rejoices on the pulpit. Margaret Cohill sings, in this color-corrected video from 8/26/79, produced by Lee Spearman at the Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church, for the Breakthrough Hour broadcast. Color-correction is a painstakingly tedious process where extremely dark video can be lightened, by transferring it from VHS then digitizing it one-selection-at-a-time. If not for modern technology, these tapes would be unviewable/unshareable.
These selections preceded the sermon by our founder, Pastor/Evangelist Dr. Richard D. Henton, Chief Apostle of Monument of Faith Church/Breakthrough Ministries.
she still goes to Monument and still sings this and other songs
I like this!!
The beginning of the song reminds me of Institutional Radio Choir's song "Satisfied."
GO'HEAD and PRAISE HIM!! Lol!
FIRE!!!!!!!!!
I was writing too fast, I'm sorry. The song was recorded by the late Rev. Milton Brunson & the Thompson Community Singers. The name of the album is "Joy."
