@@David_Griggs it’s definitely some sort of medical device. A doctor gave it to me but I can’t remember what she said it was. You very well could be correct. All I know it was fun to scrap lol. Hope you’re doing well buddy.
You 100% sure? If I remember correctly the lady said it had to do with ultra violet light therapy, but I could be misremembering. So I really don’t know lol.
I did a test of one pound of that type of insulated wire and then stripped, because of the price I get for that type of wire I only made 10 cents more. But, I have to pay per pound to dispose of my garbage. So I sell all my insulated wire unless it’s 14 gauge or bigger, that stuff I always strip.
Just an idea when you reveal the totals after each strip why not show the price of shred first then underneath the price for stripped rather than showing the shred price then the stripped price latter thought it might be worth a try
My thought is I share it first and I assume people will remember. The reason I don’t is it will crowd the screen with all the numbers. But I appreciate your idea. I’ll have to brainstorm and see what if anything I can do differently
Those Arvin heater fans seem to go for around $50-$60 on Ebay in unrestored condition. It would be a shame too let something with so much character end up in the trash.
No I believe it had to do with some sort of muscle treatment. I got a lot of old medical equipment from this doctor. I think that’s what she told me lol That’s true lol
Please don't scrap out the burgundy clock on top of the pile, it has some value, even as parts. That piece with the acrylic rod it would have made a great basis for a space age laser gun prop/sculptures I do....and I would have combined it with that round light heat sink....add some other bits, and then VOILA, perfect piece for the Men In Black armoury!

@@richardhulbert9480 yeah just this first one.
I might add more in the future. Will just have to see what the future holds for me lol.
Thank you again my fiend!
@@scrapitall200 well just saying if you have levels I think your worth more than a dollar a month. Not sure how much of that you really see. I am thinking about 80 cent. Hope I am wrong. Lots of scrappers out there putting out videos. I appreciate how you are willing to put your faith out there. Not many others do. I question my faith on a regular basis. I've traveled the world every one has a different faith. I am not the person to say who is right or wrong. I will say my beliefs are in line with yours. I think overall religion is a strength to believe in. It may vary a bunch. But it's not my place to say what's right or wrong. I know what I believe and that's enough for me
24:11....that looks like an older style exam light from a health care providers office.
@@David_Griggs it’s definitely some sort of medical device. A doctor gave it to me but I can’t remember what she said it was. You very well could be correct. All I know it was fun to scrap lol.
Hope you’re doing well buddy.
I hope you can restore it. have one not as old but I'm fixing it up
I’m not going to scrap it I decided.
Oh cool! 😃
You should of sold that high bay LED light. It was worth a lot more than what you got for scraping it.
It was dead!
verry nice 🙂
Thank you! 😊
Did you cut the copper coil? Sometimes I find a mineral insulation inside.
Edit: nevermind. I just saw that you have
I wasn’t expecting it to be solid, I was thinking it would be what you first thought.
It was disheartening to see the utter devastation in L.A. this week.
But the amounts of scrap that could be hauled off there, imagine that!
Oh I know, it feels unreal 😢😢
😎👍👍👍❤️
Hey thanks my friend 😃
U need to restore the item mate. Blow me away, they look like copper plates, cheers Graham
Yeah I’ve decided to keep it.
Such a let down when that magnet stuck to them lol.
Hope you’re doing well and enjoy the rest of your week my friend.
@scrapitall200 thx mate and U too
Thank you! 😊
Restore it, part of history
Ok cool, thank you.
Your shop is still clean compared to mine. But I am working on it.
Nice! It’s not too bad, but definitely not how I want it lol
Thats an xray machine out of a Dentist office!
You 100% sure?
If I remember correctly the lady said it had to do with ultra violet light therapy, but I could be misremembering. So I really don’t know lol.
20:58 those arent cast... those can be sold as extruded aluminum ..
@@theonewhowas7709 yeah you’re right, my brain wasn’t braining lol
🤙🤙👍
@@piecesofpete5921 ✌️👋
When I get done with the wire it is uninsulated, the scrap yard gets enough from OP’s ✌️.
FOR the love of god, restore that fan! Put a brushless motor in it, a real keeper.
@@nasunorahl sounds good! 👍
I’m always shocked at how LARGE the heat sinks are on LED lights like these, or parking lot lights!
Right! Crazy that those tiny little lights need that big of a heat sink lol
I still say repurpose that fan into a night
That would be cool too
Just an idea when you reveal the totals after each strip why not show the price of shred first then underneath the price for stripped rather than showing the shred price then the stripped price latter thought it might be worth a try
My thought is I share it first and I assume people will remember. The reason I don’t is it will crowd the screen with all the numbers. But I appreciate your idea. I’ll have to brainstorm and see what if anything I can do differently
@@scrapitall200 its probably my age but i always forget what the first numbers were
I understand, I’m like that too lol.
I’ll see what I can do.
Idk what that star wars looking light probe was lol.
Idk either but it sure looked cool 🤣
Thers allways more screws
@@richardhulbert9480 always 😂
Restore!!!
Awesome, thank you!
save that fan
Will do. Thanks.
Those Arvin heater fans seem to go for around $50-$60 on Ebay in unrestored condition. It would be a shame too let something with so much character end up in the trash.
Right on! Thank you.
Is it a dental or surgery light ? Fun fact you garage at least to can move around
No I believe it had to do with some sort of muscle treatment. I got a lot of old medical equipment from this doctor. I think that’s what she told me lol
That’s true lol
Restore it!!
Awesome. Thank you.
Restore it!! Or I’d love to!!
I’ve decided not to scrap it and I hope to restore it one day. Thank you.
@@scrapitall200 that’s awesome!! Be glad to see it!
@@richardflores5530 awesome! I think it will be fun to do!
Hey Y'all
✌️👋🙏
I'm sorry, did you change your name to Restoritall?
🤣😂
Please don't scrap out the burgundy clock on top of the pile, it has some value, even as parts. That piece with the acrylic rod it would have made a great basis for a space age laser gun prop/sculptures I do....and I would have combined it with that round light heat sink....add some other bits, and then VOILA, perfect piece for the Men In Black armoury!
I knew you’d spot that clock, you have an incredible eye lol.
Yeah a person such as you could do all sorts of neat stuff with my scrap lol.
Thank you for watching.
@@scrapitall200 When I was scrapping heavy, pre-youtube, I tended to have a hard time letting go of some parts...had a inventory of cool components I used for my creations. Unfortunately I left them behind when I moved, due to time constraints. Now I am restocking, slowly.
@@bearhardcorepicker oh bummer, I bet you had some cool stuff saved!
@@scrapitall200 Yep, I did...
you need time for this stuff
That’s ok, I’ve got the time lol
yes, 100% that fan should be restored instead of scrapped.
Right on, thank you.
Restore it or i will buy it from you and restore it James
Ok cool. We can talk later about it
@@scrapitall200 okay
Have an awesome day buddy
@scrapitall200 thanks and you too James
@ thank you, I will 😊
The liquid is mercury, I bet.
You think so? Wonder why they’d do that?
If you can restore it
Ok cool, thanks for the comment.
