Faf will go down in history as one of the best. Attitude, skill set and presence are world class! You rarely see such dominant low tackles on the big guys in the game, let alone from a 9!!!
@Theo Kleinhans Pat was a bright star in the middle of his career, watched him in the 2011 Currie Cup defeat to the Lions, great game. That hit is painful to watch...
Was there that day and knew instantly that Lambies career was over. CJ and Irish rugby owe Lambie personally for the hit they put on him to end his career.
Late to the party... Lambie only played this game because Pollard was injured. This was 2016 and Pollard had already been playing for the Boks for 2 years.
@Felix Davis Definitely not all time great. He joined ireland at a time when they needed an enforcer. He is quite average when you compare him to the likes of English/Springbok/ All black backrowers
@Felix Davis 100 caps is a lot of games. I'm not going to deny that. You can't compare 100 irish caps with 100 nz caps. Parisse is a great player with 100 plus caps but even if he wasn't as good he might've gotten 100caps in his career in what has been a poor italy team over the years. What I am saying is the value of those caps vary team to team. NZ are a team known for changing their squad a lot, which is why getting 100 caps for NZ is a big deal... the same goes for Eng and SA. When you have a bigger pool of players to pick from, you have more options to replace guys loosing form. On the flip side, Ireland has way fewer rugby players than those 3 team. You are talking about a country where rugby is their 3rd biggest sport ( and hurling and GAA football are their top 2){I know this because I live in ireland}. When you have less quality to replace the current team, the team will more than likely stick to whats there than to change a starter for someone new. That's just common sense. If you look at the top 10 most capped players of all time, 4 of the top 10 come from nations with a small rugby playing population; wales, ireland and Italy. Just because they are the top 10 most capped of all time, doesn't mean they are the 10 best players of all time. Does that make sense. If Stander was playing for England (lets ignore SA cause thats a different kettle of fish) do you honestly think he would have amounted to the same number of caps? with the competition of being a backrower in england (for starters he isn't getting ahead of billy, and that was the same for the lions tour). Do you see where I am coming from? The fact that he is a lion is a also a bit different. I will take nothing away from him not being a top quality player, but when gatland picks a lions squad he doesn't just look at the best players. He will pick guys who are ''enforcers" and guys that are natural leadings due to their age or their playing style. He is more likely gonna pick a guy who has been around playing a lot of int. rugby than someone who is potentially better but can't make the Eng team. The best players in the world are more than likley players who have been on top of world rugby. That's why it tends to be a lot of NZ players, a few saffers, a few english and a few welsh. Ireland had a brief moment at no.1 and at that point in time people were saying Conor Murray and Sexton should be nominated for WRPY. Not the others, because in reality there are 'better' others.
Was actually Elton Jantjies, a flyhalf with that inside pop (and most South Africans don’t think much of him, sadly) personally, I rate him highly...one of those players that must be allowed to play his natural game, and when he does...magic!
Really enjoy watching players' debuts so thanks so much for posting these vids mate, keep it up!
Same
Love your vids by the way andrew

Pretty much single handedly won the series for the Boks.
Little man power, underestimated
Faf, you biscuit. Regards from Scotland.
Mvovo is so much better than he ever got credit for he should have been given way more starts
1:37 loose head driven back by a half back.... The Streets are TRULY done
Sadly the game that cost pat lambie his rugby career!!! he was never allowed to play rugby after that concussion .....
@Theo Kleinhans Pat was a bright star in the middle of his career, watched him in the 2011 Currie Cup defeat to the Lions, great game. That hit is painful to watch...
Sadly, it was another Saffa to end that. CJ Stander.
Was there that day and knew instantly that Lambies career was over. CJ and Irish rugby owe Lambie personally for the hit they put on him to end his career.
@@gunmonkey1185wasn’t a Saffa, he played for Ireland and it was Ireland that ended Lambies career.
We’d still have him as an option
If only this team knew about 2019
Makazol Mapimpie next please
Hey how about Bryan Habanas springbok debut
And Pat never played again.
Still, if he did, maybe we wouldn't have Pollard...
we definitely wouldve had Pollard i thino they wouldve used Lambie on 15 he is a way better 15 than Willie ..willie ja shis moments though
Late to the party...

ua-cam.com/video/ZscVCaR3mjA/v-deo.html There ya go
Yeah sadly the thuggish hit on faf will be more remembered on lambie than this loss. During the no cups coetzee reign of disastrous coaching
Fafs bomb's are higher than snoop dogg
Oh no. This was the game with Lambie, or well his last game...
So much talent wasted because of the stupid CJ Stander
@Felix Davis He may have been good. I don't care either way. What he did was stupid and careless and in result, seriously injured Lambie.

Pretty much what ended Patrick lambing career.
CJ stander is n poe*
joost van der whesthuzian debut
they still lost to a 14 man and 13 man side for 10 minutes
this video highlighted willie le roux’s malperformance
that Mvovo try...
Thing of beauty. That centre sacrificed himself _hard_ for that, but what a gap it made. Great move.

RIP Lambie 😂😂
What's funny?
