No buddy, you would be wise to listen to me. I sell hundreds of muzzleloaders built with HIS as our standard. We know how to build. This dated technology was used by REM 700 UML some clients still want it but HIS is far better. bayouadvancedweaponsystems.net/extreme-smokeless-muzzleloaders.html

If I ever get the chance to get back into muzzle loading shooting, with all the research stating that this muzzle loader is capable of 200grs of muzzle loader powder, I will consider using the maximum load of powder, so I'm gonna pose a question to you folks, has anyone tried to powerbelts or bore drivers ammo, the ammo that performs the best is the ammo that will get used, if you take your time and watch what your doing, you'll get it figured out rather easily, I like my cannons, 2000-2400 feet per second, sounds like a nice healthy cannon to me,
why in god's name would you want to use 200gr of Black powder (or equivalent load of an alternative) in a .50? The "Ultimate" Buffalo rifle Winchester turned out was 50-140-700 "Sharps"... they only used 140gr of powder under a 700gr bullet. The .577/.500 No2 3-1/8" was a monster, and only used 160gr under a 400gr bullet. Hodgdon (following Western Powder's recommendations) doesn't recommend using more than 84gr of BH209 in a .50 or .45, as exceeding that can lead to runaway pressures (it wasn't formulated to be loaded heavier than that). Mass-marketed ML bullets like you are talking about also aren't designed to handle those velocities, generally. If it's a SML, and you really "need" that velocity, why don't you use rifle smokeless (like Retumbo or H4350, or Reloader 15)? It'll cost significantly less, be safer, and actually do what you want. Also, use bullets meant to do that kind of velocity (hard cast with paper patching, or pay a bunch of money to pre-engrave/size modern jacketed bullets to your grooves). Just take a moment to look at some cartridge load data before you start wanting to dump stuff down a barrel. I mean, you only load 115gr of Reloader19 in a .470NE under a 500gr bullet to get 2,244 FPS!!!
Nope we build multiple types of ignition systems now and use many others now available on the market. Cases, modules, bare primers, etc. You need a high pressure back seal and the brass primer modules v. Cases hold more pressure for total 100% seal at breech. www.precisionengineeredrifles.com/models_and_specifications/extreme_smokeless_muzzleloaders
@@bayouadvancedweaponsystems it takes a 250 grain 3000 fps and 2742 fps for a 300 grain bullet to teach 5k.you need to put that on video. Remington always have to make things as difficult as possible, just like that gun they made that used an electronic fringing pin system their ultimate muzzle loader uses casing that only are available through them. instead of just making it someone common so you can just go out and buy it from any local store... they always have to be a pain in ass!!

Oh yes it is if you shoot BP or BH209. Inlines or bolts can be used. You still get the benefit of a better built Muzzleloader

Your opinion and valid.... it is about accuracy and challenge
As handi rifle isn't a muzzleloader.
