Awesome review Justin! “Instead of long walks on the beach, you like long walks through hobby lobby or Michael’s the M1 ultra was made for you” you always have the best quotes 😂
Great video. but not sure if I would use the colour printer on the Xtool nor the pen, the only thing I would say to xTool is that it needs a camera system, with the colour printing I would just use the Standard ink printer, as it does not have black ink included. apart from that I would use it for paper cutting or use cardboard and wood...but will think about buying one, can we have other future video on using the XTool machine. with the pen system not much choice of pens you can use for writing or drawing, thanks
What about ditch the M1 Ultra? I have had nothing but trouble with mine since I got it and also waited 2 months after paying for a riser base, post sales you dont get any help whatsoever from xTool...can you mention this!
I already own a P2S. I'm doing research on whether or not this would be a worthy purchase to add to my capabilities. I do not care about the laser portion more interested in the cutting and color printing onto materials that I could then process in the larger machine. Do you think this would be a good machine to add? I feel the ability to print an image and then cut it out will save me a ton of time in painting and finishing work.
From the website: It can print on fabrics, boards, printing paper, and other materials. However, it cannot print on very dense or smooth surfaces, such as metal, glass, and ceramics, because the ink cannot penetrate or adhere. These materials can be processed after applying a suitable ink coating. Something to consider. Maybe check how much it also cost to replace the ink cartridges each time it runs out and the estimated # of prints you could do.
I could be wrong but everyone else has put the the prism base in landscape mode rather than portrait position, then it looks like there are little pieces in the corners that keep it stable.
Its a standard printer cartridge so Im sure mileage depends on how heavy you are using it. It will need to be changed but you can buy them on Amazon or local office store.
On their site they state in the FAQ "It can print patterns that fill 20 sheets of standard A4 paper at the default concentration. The specific service life is related to printing color, concentration, ambient temperature, etc."
Just putting this here… if you’re printing multiple jobs, just don’t put the cover on the tray and it can’t be picked up. Then on the last job put it on the tray. 😂
no its not and if it still has the same crashing issues as the M1 after having a simple upgrade as an air assist users will walk away in droves. Xtool didnt get it right with the M1 where you cant simply ad an air assist why would anyone think this is going to be a less than frustrating success
Фанера в изделии слонов лишнее, тем более что холодильник выпуклый, а бумагу можно было выжечь лазером в режиме заливка, зачем лишняя работа ковырять бумагу иглой и резать.
By printing on sticker paper you masked the downsides of the inkjet module, which you could have done on a regular printer faster and better. It is very much a gimmick, because it's only three colours without black. This means that to get black, the machine has to mix all three colours together, which is not very effective, resulting in muddy darks, and also very wasteful and thus expensive. It doesn't have white ink like UV printers either, so printing on darker materials doesn't give vibrant results.
@PrabhjotKumar-w8i I'm not against you relax 😄 it's a nice fun machine but it won't do well for a small business that's all, thanks for your video, I and many others appreciate it.
I don’t think it’s fair to compare Cricut to Xtools. The Maker 3 is not a laser cutting machine! It’s more that the M1 Ultra has incorporated all the Maker functions into a laser engraver.

Because I have so many questions

What trouble and why?

Smart idea, to tape down your mat. 😊
For the printer module, maybe you just take the cover off and not place it where it picks up until it’s the last printing job of the day?
I was wondering do did the magnet stick to the stainless steel portion of the fridge.
Nice video game music.
Thanks wish they made more of it I would use it all!
So is there a work around for pen writing on something thicker than a piece of paper ?
Maybe the riser
Hallo, ist es möglich auch leder mit dem Cutter zu schneiden? Wenn ja, wie dick darf das Leder maximal sein? Danke
Website says yes the cutter can cut leather but I couldn't find how thick it can cut. Maybe ask their support.
How long does the color printer lasts…does it required to be changed like uv printers?

Not very long, especially since it's only CMY so to print black it uses all three inks at the same time.
Could you post the link for the printer head? I have a S1. Would it work with that unit? Thanks
I really want it but unfortunately they don't ship to India.
Hi Justin, I have tried to find some laser cutter for my small workshop ( Im hobbist ) but I cant find a good one, so im wondering if you can help me?
Olá, está máquina corta Eva?
Does anyone know what the compatible ink cartridge reference is?
Another You Tuber said the HP 62 ink cartridge.
When it can pickup thr cover automatically why not drop off before starting the job at same place ?
it only can "pick it up" because the lid has magnets, so it hovers over it and "picks" it up.
@@AndreasR85 understood but need a reverse too that make sense of the feature more robust

How can i ditch the cricut when this costs an arm and a leg
😂😂😂 exactly
are you two seriously comparing a laser cutter+engraver+cutter with a cutter? of course it’s more expensive

LOL
I really liked the xtools. But cricut is just 500$ and this system is 2000$. Price is big deal.
But this one takes 500 years to cut, you don't like it? 🥹😅😅
@@M.Elyami I don't have that many applications and I have 3d printer
