I was 12, I was at the mall with my parents, they were shopping and I was super bored. I didn't know anything about music, however, there was a desk at the mall where you could select one album and listen 1 minute of all the songs. I didn't know why I decided to try this album specifically, but I did. Listening the first minute of Shut Up was a super powerful feeling. This album literally introduced me to music. That day changed my life. 🤟
I remember being 14 years old sitting in my bed listening to this CD on my little stereo with the CD player reading my celeb magazines just for the posters....those were the simpler days...thank you for being my happy place still to this day!! :)
I hate calling things “underrated” but Jump is the kind of song that really is underrated, it’s the kind of song that belongs in one of those movie montages when the main character finally decides to get off their butt and starts living :) it’s quite motivational really
