I am from Russia and sleeping on the floor is not something usual here but recently I was to create a temporary sleeping space and had chosen a futon for this.
This video was very helpful at figuring the maintenance routine, thank you!

I enjoyed this video -- it's hard to find a video about Japanese lifestyle by Japanese people but still in English!

      Thank you for your message.
I am Japanese and I use a translation site to write English.
I'm sure the text is hard to read, but I'd be happy if you continue to look at it.

I'm really thinking about moving from my bed to a futon. I use to sleep on the as a kid, I think I never really got out of it. Whenever I drink to much I always gravitate towards the floor because it's cooler down there 😅 not just because I'm drunk.
I used Google translate excuse me if there's mistakes

Sorry for the late reply. And thank you for your comment.
Japanese adults also fall asleep as if they were sucked into a futon when they drink alcohol.
When the day comes when you can sleep in your futon, please let me know.😀

@@japaneselife1775 Ideas for other videos? Hmm...I think many people only think of ramen when they think of Japanese soup/noodles. I think maybe many people don't know about things like udon or soba maybe?

The terraces of Japanese houses are bleak because of the emphasis on functionality. However, I have never felt inconvenienced.
