how complex were the follow up questions in your first interview? I'm taking a level law as well, and I'm not sure if I should mention stuff like contributory negligence or damages if I'm fortunate enough to get a UM interview.
Hello this is very urgent 😭 i am from um open channel. The intake is on 7th of oct but i got the offer letter today. And ive been struggling with the whole maya portal thing. - during the modules registration for Sem 1. Are we allowed to choose anything that is available? Bcs thats what i did. Omg i was clueless and chose civil procedure as my sem 1 module. Im so lost now ): bcs from what i have read, civil procedure is usually learned during ur last year of law school. I didn’t know that at the time of choosing. My questions, is it okay? is there anything i have to worry about? Do i just attend the class accordingly? And how am i supposed to know which class/lecture hall it will be held at? I am still so doomed abt choosing civil procedure as my first module 😭 i think i messed up so bad.
Just question. How bilingual is the interview? Because I don't mind answering the general questions about why law or UM in Malay, but I don't feel too confident about answering the 3 Minutes Lawyer question in Malay 😅
Hello, my interview was fully in English. Some of my friends got a few questions in BM. Generally the 3 minutes lawyer should be in English as the questions are in English.
Hello direct intake is basically a second opportunity to enter UM, in case you missed/failed the upu application. The only difference is the price where the fee through ditect intake is higher. You may refer to the umceed website for more details.
Depending what you plan to do with law degree/master if u want to practice then certainly u need to have a LLB or bachelor of jurisprudence ( UM offer both). You could also apply to study J.D program in the UK. If you plan to work in the legal fraternity as an advisor you can have a master in Law (any type of law)
@@nurathirahbalqis892 I applied through upu, my interview was on 14 jun. Have you got any notification from them through gmail or on their website? Did you checked it? If they didn't call you langsung they may have their reasons. You should contact the faculty or the admission and registration division for updates.

You can bring it up if you're confident that you can answer the relevant follow-up question if being asked.
@@shiyi_2000 could you provide an example of the types of follow up questions you were asked?

My SPM bahasa melayu only get B, can I apply the direct intake law course
I would like to ask whether law students accepted through umcced are studying together with UPU's students.
Yes, all students are treated the same (the only difference is the fee)
what's the difference between through upu and direct intake? Is DI more competitive?

Can I study law after I graduate from my current course or do a double degree, which is better?

does the question will be about negligence only or it can be about other things too ?
Nope. during my interview, random questions/scenarios were given. Mine was about criminal law. So, you can get anything.
