Not spider straps before head blocks?

That circular cut out in the top portion of the scoop is to landmark the patient’s head, giving you the ability to secure the scoop around the patient without having to lift their head.

Isn't log rolling a patient with a pelvic fracture contraindicated?

JRCALC says.......Log rolling of the patient with possible pelvic fracture should be avoided as this may exacerbate any pelvic injury; where possible utilise an orthopaedic scoop stretcher to lift patients off the ground and limit movement to a 15° tilt.
    He does verbalise this

Can you do one with putting the straps on? (should this be done before the scoop is connected?) and putting the collor on someone who is already supine as this is very difficult, thanks
