IR Interpretation
Interpretation of Infra Red Data
IR ranges
IR Vibrational Frequency
IR Stretching values
IR Bending values
In ethanol should not be there c-c stretching
Sir why u take all strectinG values for these examples not take bending values...???
How we will determine whenever we take streching value or when we take bending value???
Sir ur method is so GreaT but how I remembered this values?
How to remember all these values ?
by rote learning...rattta system k through yaad kren
Tatti system
Sahi hai
very very very useful classes thanku so much...it is so helpfull for us
How to take the mid value
???
Do we have to learn all these values ??
Sir, why C-H bond stretching of alkane is used in both examples
Sir , why didn't you took the strecthing of c -c in the example of ethanol
pro trick: watch movies at Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Zander Raylan Definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone} for years myself :)
@Zander Raylan yea, been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :D
Sir my doubt is that how c=c or c-c have dipole moment for ir active compound
Sir ise yad karne ka koi trics batay
Sir why can NOT I take C=C BOND
What about c=c stretching in benzaldehyde
~1660 cm^-1, main focus was functional group.
@@pkclasses100 but c-H is not a f.group then why you take c-H stretching but you are not taking c-c stretching?
@@tanzihanizam U can take whatever value u want but the main purpose of IR is to identify functional groups. and that of NMR is to identify hydrocarbon skeleton.
sir how can we take mid value of ir specta ranges
Sir how to identify whether the bond is streching bond or bending bond
if the value is 1500 or below...then it will be bending region...
How to distinguish between aclohal and ethers
Sir! In example 1 why we haven't taken the value of C-C stretching?
Yes same doubt
i think c-c comes under fingerprint region in this example that's why he doesn't considered it's value
Sir in 1 example
Why you not take c-c stretching
It will give the fingerprint region
Sir ,in the example 2 you didn't took the strecthing of c double bond c
Sir, in 2nd example that is in case of Aromatic compound beside C-H, C=O & Ar-H spectra.shouldn’t there be a C=C spectra??
I was thinking the same … i thought even for the first example there should have been the C=C spectra
Do you know
(C-H)def what is the full form of def?
Deformation means bending
Question asked from Nujol in GPAT 2019
@@pkclasses100 is there any minimum difference between 'deformation' and 'bending '.always we can use bending instead of deformation or deformation instead of bending.

Very well explained.. Thank you sir🙂
👍👍
Is it necessary to remember all values sirr for gpat or any imp values sirr??
Yes
Thank u for ur nice video..
Sir how Distinguish between the pairs of organic
compounds on the basis of IR spectroscopy Acetaldehyde and Benzaldehyde
c=s range?
Sir Jo example m circle kiye ho stretching ke liye vo pta kaise chlata h ki vhi par mark krna h
In example#2 you take the value of C--H bond from alkanes.but in example C is not sp3 hybridized.
Sir why you take this value?
Why finger print region is commonly arais in all spectras.. wats reason to get fingerprint region
MJ Techs
Because stretching and bending both occurs in all samples
Sir, I am not giving any competitive exam. Is there any free software or method to interpret exactly from given graph without trial and error? So far I only found one website where we can enter the name of compound and compare but it is difficult.
Is there any automatic way to get it on computer?
Ahmad Shumayal
Such software is not available, it's available for NMR. But IR is not that much complicated, you can easily interpret the spectra; just try it easily.
Sir...in solving peaks..they will give stretching or bending freqency...plz...rly
Sir, is functional group region only resposible for stretching vibration and Finger print region for stretching and bending vibration ?????????
Functional group for stretching and
Finger print for bending
@@techdynamo23 ok,thanks
Best Teacher
Hello sir the video was amazing but i didnt understand the thing that why are we using only streching vibration value why not bending value?
Rubin Subba Because bending comes under fingerprint region, that's why I have discussed only stretching. In competitive exam point of view bending vibrations are less important, video will be complicated after inclusion of that. If you want to study, you can go through the books i.e. Pavia or YR Sharma.
Sir can you please give me a data of nitroethane and ethyl isocyanate
Sir ethanol m C-C ki streching vibration add nahi ki apne? Why
Take the mid value I.e. 1050cm^-1, but it will be in finger print region, so identification will be difficult.
Is it sufficient for GPAT??
what about the bending vibration.... why it is neglect sir
Please see the comment section I have already replied.
Very well explained sir..
Sir alcohols me characteristic band kis functional group ki vajah se hota h c-o ya o-h
O-H
O-H

Sir, how can memorize and remember ir regions....... is it any clues..... tell me
Prepare a chart, paste in the wall of your study room and ead daily.
@@pkclasses100 sir I just need to clear this semester 😂 so this method has no meaning to me many can relate with me ✌️😜

sir I am regularly watching your videos, thanks for sharing your time , sir I need lectures on NMR spectroscopy also
NMR video is coming soon after completion of IR.
Thank You.

Ajay Luhach
Some videos for NMR is available now... More videos will be uploaded soon... You can watch those videos which are available in my playlist of NMR.
Why C-O bending is neglected in two examples above
Actually that comes under finger print region, Diagnostic IR range is mainly stretching vibrations.
sir ranges kaise yaad karien
Awesome explanation
Super sir tqs for explaining
Superb

Sir, how did you find the mid values?
Why your videos become blur?
Because you are watching at 144 or 240p.
