I think it's very obvious the original writers of kai had different intentions with his character then how the end result was he obviously wasn't born evil and was more complex then how they Presented him in the end of his arc he was a very abused and neglected by his family and that had a effect on him doesn't justify his behavior but it Certainly explains it he was on a road to redemption or potential redemption if not for biases/hating to give bonnie her own villain romance /storylines and kai was a victim of his own Success he was too liked and shipped with bonnie that's why they continue to try and sell kai is irredeemable which I don't buy 🙄
The thing about Kai is BEFORE HE WAS A KILLER he was neglected. Before he became this sociopath (that we still love 😉) he was treated badly buy his family. So yeah obviously he would grow up to hate them and always want revenge. The problem is bc he is a siphon and bc he was treated so bad he became violent. And then the only way he knew to let out his hate and rage was to kill everyone. I feel bad for him sorta 😭. I Love KAI PARKER
I dont wanna go there, but this scene could have been used to portray Jo and her version of events (that led to the massacre) as an unreliable narrator. A traumatized victim, but not knowing the full story.

@@mazza.d nope. Being a sociopath is a mental disorder. His neglectful upbringing didn't help but it didn't make him a monster either. Stop defending a remorseless killer
Now that I’m older, looking back at this scene, they made the right call by deleting it. Because some believe that this scene would make him look more like the victim or, “misunderstood,” when really, it just makes him look even worse and adds onto every point of him being a sociopath/narcissist. He only wanted Jo to empathize with him despite the shit he put her and her siblings through. He doesn’t acknowledge the fact that she had every right to feel the way she did abt him or the fact that he DID kill innocent children despite his sob story. The problem is, so many fans want to shift the blame onto literally anyone other than kai because they’re blinded by thejr fantasies. Y’all did the same thing w katherine, the originals, etc. Normalize not calling every villain misunderstood instead of evil as a way to downplay their crimes, instead, ADMITTING that these characters ARE evil, it’s just the unfortunate circumstances of life molded them into the beings that they are now. That’s why we appreciate them as characters.
i see why they deleted it. they don't want people to have symphaty for kai, if this scene was out there people would love and symphatize with kai more and he would be basically another damon and klaus, show wanted kai to stay as a sociopath, not a tragic villian.
Before anyone else sticks up for how evil he is, he was eVil from birth we know they hates siphon witches but he was the one taking they're magic, killing the siblings he was overall a evil psyco what you saw was him trying to make Jo munipulated no one likes kai caus of how he was not just a siphoner
Kai was born into a family that didn't want him simply because he was different. Ever since he was little he was not allowed to touch anyone or be touched by anyone in fear of his powers, he had no one in his family. And as a little child that's really traumatic, he didn't get to learn how it feels to be loved or anything, children copy actions from their parents so he treates others how they treated him, which caused even more mutual hate. He had to watch his twin sister always get praised, and made feel special and he wasn't. He was told his whole life that he is weak, worthless and would just be there for his sister to win in the end. He was made to feel that she was better and stronger but then he realized that he is the stronger one and that his siphon powers would actually make him win. And then suddenly that was taken from him, the only thing that would made him be respected, and appreciated was ripped away from him, purposefully by his parents. The people that mentally and possibly physically abused him since he was born. They just kept on having kids until they got another set of twins that would insure that Kai never gets the position of a coven leader. A child that was isolated their whole life, that was made to feel like trash, couldn't learn any social skills or any normal human reactions, he was made into a monster with only one thing he cared about and then that was ripped away from him which caused the mental breakdown and him murdering his siblings, of course there is no excuse for that, there is never an excuse for murder but you can't exactly blame him from that. He was conditioned to become a monster, was treated like one and then they expected him to not become one? He was a black sheep long before he murdered his siblings or showed any sociopathic traits, his family excluded him since the day they knew what he could do. Then for twenty years he was shunned in a prison world, no human interactions, no animal interactions, just him in his own mind. There was no time or an opportunity for him to learn or become better. That caused a mentality ill person to go even more insane. He in his entire life never got to learn any social skills or follow any actual good examples and people expected him to just act and be normal? He finally decided he wanted to change after everything went down, he finally wanted to be the person he wanted to be and then Bonnie, the person he wanted to change for, did the same thing to him, as his parents did. Locked in a prison world. That's major trauma right there. He saw that no matter what he does, he will be looked at as a monster so he gave up. He returned with that mindset and killed Jo. I am postive that if they actually helped him, his first reaction wouldn't be to kill Jo and the twins but to find a solution. And if you are going to judge him for killing his siblings or anyone for that matter, keep the same energy with Damon, Stefan, Klaus, Elena, Elijah, Caroline or any person in that show, because every single one did almost the same if not worse. In first three episodes Damon killed more people then Kai did in his whole life. He killed Lexi who did nothing to him, he killed Jeremy(he didn't die but Damon didn't know that) and many other people with his humanity on and off, he raped Caroline no ifs, ands and buts. Stefan was the literal ripper, he killed so many people. Elena killed many as well. Klaus killed Jenna, Tylers mom and massacered covens and wolf packs. And if you are going to sit there, ignoring that or forgiving them, you are being a hypocrite. And if you even try to say they had their humanity off, well guess what, that's what its like for Kai too, he his whole life feels like his humanity is off but the only difference is all of them chose to turn it off, knowing the consequences, Kai didn't have that choice. His family conditioned him into becoming a sociopath and when he wanted to change ans be better, to help, no one believed him. Everyone forgave Damon, Stefan, Klaus etc and gave them an opportunity to change, to show they can be different, but they didn't do the same with Kai, he knew that he can't do anything to change their opinion. So don't sit there and say he was a black sheep because of what he did, no he did all of that because he was the black sheep.
@@sicklysweet2838 Dude, Elena killed Kol which killed thousands upon thousands of just random vampires, many of whom could have been goid, just to get Jeremy's tattoo completed to get the cure so she could become human again ... and EVERYBODY was ok with all those deaths and they still considered themselves the "good guys"? Kai just wanted to off the ppl who hurt him or got in his way. He was made into a sociopath due do lack of positive human interaction n touch as a child, teen, young adult, and prison world. Sorry but how he felt about getting revenge on his "family" was actually pretty understandable. You can't lock little kids away from social interactions, touch, positive feedback, it drives them crazy, wild, sociopathic. He was a product of his family's actions towards him. Then to be locked away 100% by himself in a prison world? Um yeah, he was out for revenge, and it was quite understandable if you know if a little bit about psychology. Wish they would have continued his redemption story but he already was moving on to another show unfortunately.

I dont wanna go there, but this scene could have been used to portray Jo and her version of events (that led to the massacre) as an unreliable narrator. A traumatized victim, but not knowing the full story.
I AM NOT CRYING🥺😭
just saying he deserved better 😩💔
Agreed
I had started to like kai until he killed jo that is unforgivable
They put the scene back in which I am so happy about
I love Kai!!! Honestly that’s why I couldn’t finished the show .. I stopped at season 7 🧍🏻♀️
Felt sorry for him even
Jo have a right to be angry at kai
i'm bawling my eyes out rn help
I remember this in the show idk why they deleted it it was the best got me crying in my feelings🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
2:10 unexpected asmr 😂
I swear I wonder how good Jodi Lyn O’Keefe would’ve done if she was playing the villain cuz the way she played Gretchen in Prison Break dawg I tell you
But why is Chris playing all these broken characters... 🥺
How is Mon-EL broken?
I swear I’ve seen this in the show
Why does everyone give the Kai's so much understanding and empathy and defend everything they do but hate the Elena's and judge everything they do?
Bc they think they're hot, interesting, and likable while ppl think elena is boring and annoying. It's the same reason almost everyone hates matt but love the male psychos/villains when matt barely did anything wrong
Matt and Elena: Die to save the friends they love.
People: God, so annoying. Hate them.
Kai: I'm going to slaughter babies and children and laugh at their mothers as I do it.
People again: Oh my gosh, he so sexy and good looking. He had it really hard in his childhood, he just wanted power.
People WTF?!?
I hate Kai for what he did to Jo.. 😕 You is my favourite Character and I love her.
Michi Fischi fuck jo kai is best
Ace of Knaves that’s not logic
I love Kai as well but
In reality he couldn’t be anywhere near me
He literally killed his 4 of siblings cause his parents didn’t want him
Then tried to kill two 6 years olds
And tried to kill two 3 year olds
Fuck u how could u hate kai
Haifaa Yousef because he killed her
Tori bubu rightfully so
THE MOUTH NOISES HE MAKES😍😍😩
people say that this scene should have been added to give Kai a redemption arc but personally i think its better he didnt have a redemption arc and i think actually having him end up with bonnie would be really stupid imo
but this scene still should have been added because even without redeeming him just showing parts of his struggles would have been great
Kai Parker should've been in the originals and once he should've faced off Klaus
Yes
There is no good reason for deleting this scene ✨
Kai was meant to be a complete monster Pre Merging with Luke
All these deleted scenes ridiculous they should have figured out a way to fit some of them in the show
JO POPPED-
I actually saw this in the show
They should’ve kept this
Maybe he was the "black sheep" because he murdered his siblings?
He was actually shunned as a child growing up and treated with a ten feet pool
@@mazza.d for being a siphoner. And a sociopath. So yeah still a murderer
@@CarpeNoctem1864 did you ever think that isolation turned him into a sociopath and being treated as a outsider or abomination
@@mazza.d nope. Being a sociopath is a mental disorder. His neglectful upbringing didn't help but it didn't make him a monster either. Stop defending a remorseless killer
@@CarpeNoctem1864 it is a mental disorder, however you can be born a sociopath and turned into one. Not having human interactions can make one crazy
I feel like I seen this scene in the show
Ok but like I know she went thru a lot but she should give her brother a chance at least and not make him feel like more of a freak which he’s not
Facts
Типичные ссоры брата и сестры
2:13 should we tell her😀
Why did they cut this out the ep
Hey, I’ve been looking for this for a long time. Where did you get it? Was it from the DVD/Blu-Ray or from the internet?😅
Kai and Elena
Im crying
I wish they would’ve made Kai’s character crazier and less easy to kill
i see why they deleted it.
they don't want people to have symphaty for kai, if this scene was out there people would love and symphatize with kai more and he would be basically another damon and klaus, show wanted kai to stay as a sociopath, not a tragic villian.
Personally I would have kept this scene in the show but reworked it to be *after* Kai and Luke's merge.
kai
baby🥺
WHY THIS IS DELETED. If it wasn't the whole show would change
0:04
@@sicklysweet2838 oh my god you explained Kai's character better than everyone in the comments, i fucking love you
@@acidodesossiribonucleico2820
@@sicklysweet2838 YES EXACTLY!
