Kath, Klaus, Silas and all those villains had love in their lives but no one even touched Kai, no one loved him :( Like, I wouldn't be mad at him even if he would kill everyone. I'm watching this 2 years later and it still gets me mad. Kai did change. He had a part of him that was good. He was the black sheep and everybody treated him poorly. He killed his family to prove them right. He didn't get a chance to redeem himself they just sent him away for 18 years and he couldn't even end his own life. He had to rot in his own personal hell. Stephan and Damon killed probably 100 times the amount Kai did but because Kai killed his family its different? It might be a little more twisted but they still killed way more. ALSO when Bonnie and Damon got trapped with Kai we found out Damon went all crazy in the past and killed loads of innocent people. I get Kai did do some things that he shouldn't have done. When Bonnie decided to leave him, it tore him apart and he decided to do something bad because IT BROKE HIM. KAI WAS MISTREATED BY EVERYBODY AND THEY STILL BLAME HIM? AND WONDER WHY HE DID EVERYTHING? UHM Sis NO.

The only reason why hes treated as a villain and not given the chance to redeem himself is because he killed or tried killing people close to elena. Stefan and Damon killed hundreds and hundreds of people with no motive for it. Kai had reasons whether you agree with them or not. The thing that annoys me is that pretty much everyone in the show did shitty things, some worse than others obviously, but they were all forgiven except Kai. Stefan, Damon and Klaus were all just as bad as Kai at one point in their life, if not worse yet they all received love and forgiveness. If Kai had even one person to believe that he had changed who knows he might have had a better outcome.

And when you want to die. you can't even die from all that. imagine dying in numerous gruesome ways, yet having to live it all. alone. and to top it all of, being sent to hell. constantly on fire, where the ghosts of your past torture you. He wasn't born a sociopath, he was made one.

Kai had none of that, he has no one who loved him, no one would even touch him and it breaks my heart. He is the ONLY villain who has my full sympathy, my poor Kai baby🥺❤️

I'm watching this 2 years later and it still gets me mad. Kai did change. He had a part of him that was good. He was the black sheep and everybody treated him poorly. He killed his family to prove them right. He didn't get a chance to redeem himself they just sent him away for 18 years and he couldn't even end his own life. He had to rot in his own personal hell. Stephan and Damon killed probably 100 times the amount Kai did but because Kai killed his family its different? It might be a little more twisted but they still killed way more. ALSO when Bonnie and Damon got trapped with Kai we found out Damon went all crazy in the past and killed loads of innocent people. I get Kai did do some things that he shouldn't have done. When Bonnie decided to leave him, it tore him apart and he decided to do something bad because IT BROKE HIM. KAI WAS MISTREATED BY EVERYBODY AND THEY STILL BLAME HIM? AND WONDER WHY HE DID EVERYTHING? UHM Sis NO.

The only reason why hes treated as a villain and not given the chance to redeem himself is because he killed or tried killing people close to elena. Stefan and Damon killed hundreds and hundreds of people with no motive for it. Kai had reasons whether you agree with them or not. Stefan and Damon made nearly no attempts to redeem themselves if they did something wrong and would just rely on elena to forgive them yet Kai tried so hard to change yet Bonnie left him there anyway.

The thing that annoys me is that pretty much everyone in the show did shitty things, some worse than others obviously, but they were all forgiven except Kai. Stefan, Damon and Klaus were all just as bad as Kai at one point in their life, if not worse yet they all received love and forgiveness. If Kai had even one person to believe that he had changed who knows he might have had a better outcome.

imagine being born, in family of supernatural beings, witches (or a normal family). and finding out you are not the same as the others, and your own blood relations ignore you, isolate, neglect you, look down upon you, and hate you for something that you didn't do. and living through that for your entire life. i mean 22 years! 22 years of it and you break. and then they lock you up in place where you can't talk to a person and pour out your feelings to. And when you want to die. you can't even die from all that. imagine dying in numerous gruesome ways, yet having to live it all. alone.
and to top it all of, being sent to hell. constantly on fire, where the ghosts of your past torture you.

kai deserved a second chance. every single villain like damon, stefan, klaus, katherine, etc. they were all horrible people like half of them killed for fun and some were rippers and when they would turn their humanity back on, they wouldn't feel anything bc they didn't care. but kai he only killed bc his family made him that way by isolating him and not being able to have human contact just bc he wasn't like jo. in my opinion i think kai was the most deserving of a second chance bc he was the only one who made an effort to change... everyone else either ran from it or denied that they "didn't know what they were doing"
