    If you want better adhesion on the first layer, try increasing your initial line layer width to 130%. Works wonders. I stopped using glue.

    Oh you can definitely print at different speeds for different layers in cura using support blockers and per model settings. Use it all the time for exactly the reason you mentioned.

    you can set settings for each layer if you wish to slow down the speed in cura

    one thing I'm not too certain about. If I'm using a .4 nozzle and print using a .16LH, do I do the equivalent for a .6 nozzle which the math states at a .24LH?

    if you use infill line multiplier you can use less infill and its faster and stronger

      How would that use less infill? Its just doubling the infill lines?

      @@3DPrintsEverything because infill uses more slice a file with both and see what is less

    Hi Michael, if I want a strong part, It’s better puting more walls or more infill?

    • @3DPrintsEverything
      @3DPrintsEverything  Рік тому +2

      Both. I would up walls by 2-4x then up infill to a max of 75% with connect infill lines and alternating extra wall.

      it depends on how the part is being stressed, but generally speaking more walls does more than more infill

      Walls, infill adds much more weigtt but not much more strength. Increse your line count and your line width (stronger Z bond).
      You can also upp the infill, but more than 75% or so does not make sense.

    Extentions post processing modify gcode add script in cura to change layer settings and more

  • @sierraecho884

    The answer is simple, never since your hotenbd barely can keep up with the volumetric flow anyways. Just use your 0.4mm and set extrusion width for 0.8mm or 0.7mm on a 0.2mm layer height.
