So, I did a conversion rate from Quake's units to miles per hour. 64 units is roughly 1.7 meters. You divide the rough average top speed in this video, 4500 meters per second, by 64, then multiply that by 1.7 to get meters per second. After that, I googled the conversion from meters per second into miles per hour... The average top speed is 270 to 300 miles per hour. Quake 3 Defrag / QL racing might hold the top spot for the fastest a player character can go in a videogame without a vehicle.

the problem is that noobs will get slaughtered by the people who have been playing for 20 years and nobody will enjoy it i have over 2000 hours of playtime and i'm not even close to an average guy on a random server
QC is a great remaster of Q3A. People arę just scared how skill related it is. Many players tend to explain themselves all the time with lags, bad working game ect. Game works great, just their set of mind dont, their mental is too broken for this game. Its just a survival of the fittest, only the strongs survive. That's why QC has so tiny but solid community. There are many good players, there are "forever golds" that never gain any skill through the years. These "golds" have enough skill to scare off those new ones players. And there are some noobs, but usually playing some public tdms or ffa. Duels are for the real quakers :)
since this video is 2 years old and considering the runs were from 3 years ago. it would only take me like 30 mins to beat all those times xd and yeah sadly no one would pay for them

There are seversl reasons why my runs look fast. For an example fov and weapon position
