This is very true! Any regular pulling and stretching, which any up-do causes, does break hair and even pulls out more hair than normal daily fallout. At least I've found this to be true over the years. I have very long hair, so I've had to resort to easy-on-the hair methods to keep it out of the way when needed.

    • @nlee4724

YAY!!! I decided to look on Ytube for long hair styles with a side part and immediately found yours about over 50 hairstyles. I'm 65 but told I look much younger (sorry for the brag) I've always had long shiney auburn hair. Yrs ago I had my hair cut accidentally above my shoulders and I looked horrible (your explanation about long faces was right one!!!) But now its mid back again. With bangs. But recently I started to move them to the side and feel I need help. I see how beautifully long your hair is with fringe. This is what I want!!!!! And keep my hair long in the front to add thickness. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I'm watching a lot of your videos now and see I'm going to have hope with my hair longer even tho I'm over 50!! It makes me feel young, an NO, I don't care what anyone thinks, MY HAIR.

Great video Schellea! I am a massage therapist, so the tip on the scalp massage is such an important tip that you shared in this video. One of the most important! I love the collagen tip... so spot on! And the biotin is also an amazing tip! The tip about the pillow case I had no idea of!! That is amazing! I did not know pillow cases could be so destructive on your hair! I am definitely changing pillow cases. I went pooless entirely a couple of years ago. My hair is touching the top of my tailbone now. I would attach a photo, but I do not believe I can on here. I will see if I can send it to you on your website or facebook page. It is always soft... even when it is wet. I only use food grade henna to stain my hair with. I do not blow dry my hair... I use the house fan. It works! They are actually making cool air blow dryers now. It is much better for your hair to use cool air for drying and cool water for rinsing. I can clean my hair with only water now because the ph in my scalp is balanced from no detergents on my scalp in such a long time. I do use eggs to clean and condition my hair with twice a month. I always have a growth spurt after using the eggs. I have been doing some research on taking a collagen supplement recently, so thank you for the tip on what you are taking that works! Greatly appreciated! Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful videos! Many many blessings to you! Heidi Lynn...

I found some at Wally world, just add to a bottle of water then drink, can't remember the name, the hydrolyzed collagen I prefer because it dissolves in my morning coffee, also it's extremely important to purchase the III type that's the one to restore hair and skin, recently I discovered a multi collagen complex formula it boosts the absorption as well, and benefits skin, hair and nail growth plus joint support.. Bought on Amazon its made by Vital Vitamins (Black&Blue) bottle🙌

Hair loss can be triggered by using the wrong shampoos...Also more we wash our hair more it becomes greasy so I do it only twice a week now and my hair feels much better. It helps not to blow dry the hair too much as it dries it. I also take multi vitamines everyday and vegan collagen as I am vegetarian. Scalp massage is a nice stimulant for the growth as well.
