As a beginner I too was scared to go to the skatepark in my town but even though there may be people way better than you, most likely they are not going to bully you. Most skaters help each other and so do the people at skateparks.
When I go to my skatepark and there are many good people around, I get a bit nervous but as I showed my dedication they even helped me with foot placement so its just skaters helping skaters.

Man.. I used to skate at the park everyday at 6th grade but i was fucking weird back then and i left a bad first impression but still made one friend who i skated with now I am about to finish 9th grade and i wanna start skating again and im lowkey scared people gonna remember me but fuck it

I remember my first time their was a group of people helping me and giving tips. Here is a tip treat other the way that you wanted to be treated and don't look down on other I took that and now I help other peoeole

I can tick tac and push pretty comfortable on street concrete but I’m alittle nervous for this smoother surface and I can Ollie standing still but not moveing do you think it’s a bad time to go to the skate park?

If you can ride comfortably, and get a little bit of speed, you should go to the park. You will get so much better just riding around, and soon you can ollie while moving!

@@uncle7192 your right after I went to the park I got to pump the ramps ride around and even drop in on a little ramp I got so much more comfortable being on my board I definitely wouldn’t have improved like I did if I didn’t go

do you have any recommendations where i should get a board? and if i'm right there is different sizes of skateboard decks, so i wanna know what deck will personally be good for me

A local skate shop and any worker there should be able to provide a solid size recommendation! Beware of mall shops as there is a chance that the workers there don’t skate and may not provide a good recommendation
