    Okay. This isn't about systemic circulation, but I do have a question. I've had a lot of discussion about back-up rates on BiPAP's. How do you utilize a backup rate when setting up the BiPAP? Is it necessary? How does a backup rate benefit a patient?

      Backup rates are for patients who aren’t able to spontaneously breathe. If that happens then most likely they need to be intubated.
