I just did this set up with my Infraction, and it is a monster. 6s on each system, I had to change the drive shafts to titanium to make sure I did not break anything. I programmed the ESC's(turned the timing down to keep the heat level low), and I turned the punch up to 5, and I switched to top to a indestructible Audi R7 with a slight modification for mounting. I just want want one power button. I gotta figure that out
Yea i really need to get a body for mine. Been running it a bit now and it's been so much fun. Power buttons id leave alone due to the set buttons being located on the buttons.
After doing this, if you were to do it all over again, would you take a big can single or two smaller cans? Did the motor or esc overheat one big pinion but low timing? Trying to decide between this set up or the 1250/160a 8s setup. Thanks!
Me and you almost have the same situation lol I also live near the beach and the roads are not long enough and clean enough. Except the skyline build that I’ve been working on for the last seven months were supposed to be a speed runner, but it has turned into a shelf queen lol the other way around.. I bought the limitless literally a couple days before the V2 came out I swear…
Yea wish i had waited on the V2 also. this was suppose to be a shelf queen but decided to see what she could do. destroyed it after the 114mph run. So deff wish i had kept it on the shelf.
@@WhatAboutRC … I’m really sorry to hear that, that’s so unfair… have you been able to slowly recover anything from your losses and recreate what you had? Even if it takes a few months, are you trying to recover another build?
Ive started getting parts up to rebuild it. The 2 new 6S lipos came in the other day as both the lipos exploded in the crash. The electronics all seem to be good just need a really good cleaning. Pretty much all the plastics and the body have to be replaced, as well as the suspension. taking the opportunity to do some things a lil different also so. But nothing will be together anytime soon. Got a few other projects to wrap up including a Chevy C10 remake of a truck my dad had when i was little. Still need to finish my LC80 project also. Work is never done haha.
Awesome vid. Sorry about the crash. After trying this out would you go twin motor in the future or bigger motor/esc combo? I was deciding between twin blx185/150a 6s or single 1250/160a 8s. Thanks!
Honestly the twin/tri/quad motor set ups are more for bragging rights as it really offers you nothing over just a really good single setup. This set up does what i want it to do however if i was to get really serious about speed runs i would deff go to a single setup.
I guess i didn't post an update here did I, must have been on my facebook. It was totaled at 114mph. Still had a bit more but... just ran it on a road that i shouldn't have. Ill try and remember to get a video up it was on film. It was a pretty epic crash.

Sick build bro! I'm hoarding parts to do this to a kraton 8s exb however direct drive.
Good work!!
Well done hommie. 👏

@@WhatAboutRC I hear that.. good luck with everything and the timing.
Do you recommend running different pinion gear sizes on each motor?
I wouldnt. Im not even sure that would work without destroying one of the motors.
do you have a lock out on there? what size pinions are you running?
All stock diffs, and spur with 36t pinions.

@@WhatAboutRC thanks man I appreciate the response.
How did you mount those motors in that bracket, and able to mesh them
They make a dual motor bracket just for this type of install.
It's the servo arm longer than the stock can really see in video
Yea its a bit longer. This was actually the hardest part of the build was getting the steering back right and its still not perfect.
Which esc mount is that
Was a cheap one from eBay. Simple dual motor mount for Limitless.
Older vid but, you still have not ran this car? C'mon.... How fast is it?

You never ran that on your channel?
No i do have the crash video of it but its like 20 sec long. Hit 114mph very easy but ran outta room and slammed into a ditch.
@@WhatAboutRC 😞ugh..
Imma challenge you
