From the website "Using an identical original blend of The Lakes Single Malt and select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay, we have created a refreshing expression of The One by elevating the whisky's flavour in the finest Manzanilla seasoned oak casks.
Exclusively from the Andalusian port of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, the cooler coastal climate of the region gives Manzanilla sherry distinctive dry saline characteristics.
Similar to Fino but matured only in this one Andalusian town, the sea breeze and humid climate deliver a salty, fresh character to the Manzanilla, creating a more aromatic liquid."

got this as a free sample with an order of 4 other samples. due to the other 4 being so good (Benromach Cask Strength, Arran 10 Year Old, Benromach Contrasts Organic, Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask) I ended up rating this a 2/10. the flavour just was not for me, the floral smoke tones seemed like this would be a perfect gift for the ladies.
