Great video! The Phantoms were discontinued to help fill the market with their newer P07's and P09's. The Phantom is stellar duty gun but does not have a huge market. The P07 is great for carry, but I'd take a phantom over p09 all day every day. The CZ75 platform has insane aftermarket support and the P07/9 series doesn't quite have that yet nor a proven track record . I haven't been able to justify replacing my carry P30sk with a P07 but am now however working on replacing it with a S2 Compact. The Phantom was never made for competition which is why the Shadow exists. The Phantom is best served as a combat handgun in a chest rig. My Phantom is Cajunized (self installed) with the slide cut from CGW's and a Delta Point Pro. I'm still not sold on RMR's on pistols (cuz I'm old I guess) so my Cajunized S2 gets the most love. My S2 is hands down the best home (indoor/close range) defense firearm I have (21rd mags, and shoots like a laser beam). The Shadow is way too heavy for carry as a backup firearm for almost all applications. All that said, I'll never let my phantom go and also have future plans for it. I also would not be surprised to see small batch releases of the phantom much like what HK does with their Mark 23.
The Phantom is a duty gun. I also would not use it as a carry gun. I'm currently working on transitioning my Shadow 2 Compact into a carry gun to replace my P30sk.
I think you would like the standard all metal SP01 a lot. Not the tactical version with the de-cocker. You can carry it cocked and locked or double action. One aspect of the pistol I like is when the hammer is down the safety can't be activated. Only half cock or single action it can be engaged.

Great video!!
Have Phantom for several years, done trigger upgrade, spring upgrade and love it. This is not a carry gan IMO tho… P07 is my Carry pick.

@@daniels1532 my daily carry is Ruger LCP Max… i love the size, easy to concealed, accurate to hit body shots 25yards.
@@vrso2 I like their 380 for boot carry as a backup or discrete carry

This was a good review. Surprised you don’t have more subscribers, keep it up
I love the lines of the CZ75 but I'm just not a fan of 9mm. 45acp is better for me because I'm more accurate with it.
Then you'll probably want the CZ 97B. 45ACP in the CZ platform.
MUH 2 WARLD WARZ LOLZ!11
I think CZ's are over priced.
Compared to...?
You clearly have never shot or owned one.
@daniels1532 Yes I have, my dad and my brother both have CZ'S...
@@clachapelle What do you think is better for the price?
