Knowing how much you need is important, and factoring in your age affects it a lot. If you are retired, you shouldn't "need" any, or minimal. But the more complicated decision is sifting through the type, term, whole life, etc. Generally using insurance as an investment is a bad idea, so most should just get a term policy.

I have a insurance question. When I was 20 I got the insurance that generates money . They pretty much lied about how much it will be worth when I reached 70 . I didn't believe them anyway. Now I am 60 the amount of worth is the policy plus what I payed into it. And the reason I got it was for in case of my death to take care of wife at the time. Now I have about 20 grand worth of money what usually happens if I cash out ? My policy is about to decrease if I don't add to payment . I will not add to payment.
Great question! Happy to help! I would start by call them and get a "in force illustration out to age 100". After that, if you'd like, you can schedule a call so I can look at it and determine what the options are for you. You may be able to just surrender it, but could take a loan against it or start drawing down the cash. I can't tell without seeing the illustration.
You need to tell the wife to let you get some more sleep those bags up under your eyes are not going away on their own. Seen some ads for some magic cream suppose to tighten baggy skin up. I'll try to get the name of it next time it pops up. You must of lived a hard stressful life if you and Dustin are the same age. Also are you Italian the way your arms are flying around thought you were going airborne there for a minute.
