It might have been Ace of Clay who inspired me to start sculpting again, but it was North of the Border who inspired me to finish my sculptures. "It doesn't have to be good, just good enough" is something I tell myself in all aspects if life now :)
Like do they hype their more artistically inclined peers up?? Does one do the dying/painting, and the others cheer him on? I need to know more about Bokoblin culture.
Now that I think about it, hitting foam with a rock is really the most realistic way to get rock texture since rocks get their texture by being hit by other rocks
I've been feeling off kilter for days and couldn't figure out why until it dawned on me I forgot to watch Adam making tiny nerdy things. I'm feeling much better now.
Kudos on that wee "Lunk".. sculpture! That could not have been easy... Awesome result! Thank you for sharing your time, your process and your adventure.👍🤟🪡🎨
Gotta love a good Lonk! I love how you make sculpting approachable. You do such great work but show that even the best are insecure and while you(the artist) think something could be better other will love it. It always brightens my day to see what you come out with next. So don't be so hard on yourselves new artists, go have fun and make your own tiny nerdy things!
I saw you building the big earth elemental and then thought to myself "I remember him having loads of trouble with the details, i wonder if he has learned from his mistakes." And right then you start wrapping the twine around the tower. xD Good to know that you still go for it even though you swore to never again do it. :P Lovely work! Your videos are my week's moment of Zen, always!
Hmm the zonai soldier constructs look interesting and I think if you were going to make them they are a good choice as for the energy beam that goes through their body can be just wire that's painted metallic green or you could just buy green thin bonsai wire that could be then painted with glowing paint, I myself am thinking of maybe having that as my future project as I wanted to make a book nook that's legend of Zelda related because you kinda sparked my DIY itch. xD
I can’t get over just how incredibly TINY these figures are! Link is so so small, I looked at my own thumb and imagined a teeny tiny Link of that size and I can not comprehend nor stress enough how impressive it is that there’s still this level of detail to the figure! Amazing. Thanks for sharing, I love watching your videos and especially now that I’ve got a cold and haven’t got a lot to do, watching this video has been a nice way to spend the time :)
I just want to thank you again for your consistent and amazingly grounding videos. Had a particularly bad day a little while ago, made worse because it was my guardians birthday and I felt too unstable to do what I had planned for them. They understood, and we spent the day watching a bunch of your videos. To quote "A birthday to remember"
I love you’re work so much! Recently, I have been thinking, “Hey, remember the time North of the Border made a Battle Talus? I want to do that!” And so I made it, but it broke, but that is how we learn we need better structure, and… To press the foil in more so you don’t have gaps 😂 Anyway, instead, I drew it! It’s going fantastic! I never should’ve unsubscribed from you! I am so sorry! You spark ideas while creating! Thank you!
I've made it my mission to make this mech, but with 7 more firearms and a flamethrower and I will not stop until I do. Also cool creation its truly an amazing tiny nerdy thing!
Nice job man. I actually have Tears of the Kingdom, and that Talus was so tough I couldn’t defeated it. I tried coming back to that later till I get stronger.
If anyone is wondering, the wheels on the contraption are pretty accurate, except for a small middle pole that attaches to the base. The "sword" is... uhhh... not so much.
I'm not a gamer so I don't understand many of your creations but I do recognize your model making abilities and they are many and impressive. I'm curious about one thing and that is the grid mat that you often use. If you drop or forcefully slam a piece of clay onto it, the mat will magically make the clay conform to your wishes. So on the really small stuff like the figures, why not make them big then toss them on the mat to shrink them? Also, where can I get one of those magic mats?
Awesome work, Adam! Was wondering if you would do something for Tears of the Kingdom, and I’m not at all disappointed by how great it is! Would love to see an Undertale or Deltarune creation in your realistic style! Have a great day!
@@insertcreativenamehere7584 Yes I love ralsei I hope he doesn't make them scary looking though. That's why I suggested the amalgamations because he does a lot of creepy stuff like that.
i was thinking of ralsei in the style of the pokétober ones, like the realistic pikachu spamton as a creepy realistic guy would work pretty well though, especially after the live action versions of him in spamton sweepstakes
I like the idea that all the handy-folk on UA-cam build everything not to a 1:16 scale, but to a stir stick:2x4 scale. Or half of one. The figures aren’t to scale, the wood is.
My little brain couldn't even begin to conceive of the design let alone implement it. Crazy mad skills! You are one of the most skilled artist so far I have seen on the internet.
Wow, amazing..... I really like your project as well, I have watched them again and again multiple times.... Just amazing! Thank you for sharing your visions!
Amazing job, your work looks amazing. Just the fact that you made a whole second talos is just insane and the detail on everything like the faces on the kirby or the entire clicker which looked like it was really shambling around your desk was just epic, Keep up the great work. You inspired me to start sculpting for myself and was wondering what tips and tricks you could lend me to get on my way. I was trying to make a small zombie esque human thing with a sword and couldn't get the muscles and bones pressed against the skin due to my lack of skill with blending and knowledge of basic human anatomy and have now found a new respect for you. Thanks for the great content. Keep it up! Love how you can make anything look real no matter what is crazy.

im now imagining bokoblins at a bokoblin art museum just like looking at random paint splotches and discussing those splotches
I love his method of just smashing rocks into things to texture them
It adds comedic value AND there’s no better way to get a realistic rock texture than with an actual rock… a true win win
If it works it works I guess
i mean it works great. i use it to texturize clay
"Before gently applying more rocky texture." Proceeds to slam the rock into the foam.

Despite Adam's determined humbleness, watching him work is like watching magic happen in front of you. I hope my sculpts someday look this good.
