  • Replacing rear brake pads on Honda Accord is a relatively easy task that can be done at home with basic tools. In this video I show you how to replace the rear brake-pads and install the new ones on 2012 Honda Accord. How to change the rear brake pads on this video is also applicable for 2008 to 2012 Honda Accord 8th Generation.

    Do you even need to compress the piston ? I know sometimes it doesn’t decompress or am I wrong ?

      you need to compress the piston if you install new brake pads....the new brake pads are thicker...need more room to slide to the side of the rotor...so you need to compress the piston.
