the fact that the game went from cheerful and peaceful, to downright horrifying and making it dark and disturbing is amazing and something I didn't even expect

I questioned myself and my sanity if what I was playing was even Block Tales anymore, it wasn't the same adventure action thrill game. At the near end of the chapter, you're just facing your mind just because you touched the Ghostwalker.
Well the boss of this chapter is based on the final boss of Earthbound, Giygas, a red demon-like entity which you cannot grasp the true form of his circle based attacks. The basic design is based on the Mother 1 version of Giygas, but with a clear overlay. The music also has some similarities to Porky Means Business, the first phase of giygas’ fight.
Bro I thought this game was just playing with my mind because the greed sulatude fear and hatred is all trates that kinda are part of my depression for me I would sometimes feel greedy or lonely fearful or hating on something but this was a really good chapter I never would've thought they would've went 2d with the boss
i felt omori on the way too, Dream world looks like white space, then we enter headspace, then some cryptic shit happens, slowly increasing until you're in blackspace
Love the plotwist so much. Expected the slasher to appear a couple more times before a reveal of him being Telamon or something. Instead ended up with OMORI
@@cubebutpro298 Being different is always good, to be honest, we all know that swords are dangerous as we saw this with the cruel king and the griefer/bubonic plant, and they make our character more human not simply being pure because yes, he has emotions, damn that prevented him from being totally pure so he had to literally defeat his corruptions.
Honestly there felt like a lot of "holes in this chapter" If I recall correctly on the train ride you learn you are going to a town, but it's just a graveyard and manor The butler disappears after he tells you not to follow him Same with the slasher The outside parts with zombies felt too little The chapter spoils you with items and introduces only a few new ones They added a lot of items exclusive to cooking, which you mostly have to look up or take too much of your time to obtain to be worth going for Everyone and their mother is a vendor in this chapter Literally all bux locations are just "out of sight" Not much puzzle / pre established mechanics use, like using the ball, dynamite, sword abilities in overworld Not much interesting done with the ghost potion or ground pound besides one puzzle with the potion and a backtrack location in the cave with ground pound Most people don't know about the turkey phase 2 or it's phase 2 song because it's weaker than bosses encountered in previous chapters And more I loved how when i talked to all the npcs quite a lot of them say that i look troubled or pale, foreshadowing
Maybe all of this is a hint on our character’s well being? Butler is no where to be found The slasher too (possibly the same fate as the butler?) The zombies (maybe human all along?) Correct me if I am wrong on any of the these part This is my guess that our characters are not actually okay
the primary focus of this chapter was likely on the part where the player had to traverse through their mind pretty sure, nevertheless pretty valid points
1:15 Turkey theme gives me cartoon battle in a dust cloud vibes, with the occasional stop for like a choke out or pinning the other and slapping their face
Idk if it only happended to me but the first time i was fighting Turkey he pulled a shot gun and the text "Turkey had enough..." And No-scopped Red n' Blue,almost oneshotting them by dealing 12 damage
Btw to beat theese bosses faster u go to the guru and u go cold and fight cruel king like 4-5 times and u get a badge and a card that u can summon the cruel king and he’s so op

I am seeing this video after beating chapter 3 and, honestly, the fact that Hatred was THE last boss surprised me when I beat chapter 3 I thought he was the preparation for maybe Slasher's comeback like on Demo2 where you fight Griefer two times in the same chapter
The MINUTE I entered the dream world(as the game calls it), I immediately got creeped out by the immediate OMORI comparisons, and it did not stop until I beat Hatred. I highkey was expecting to get jumpscared the whole time. They went deep into the bag for this one and it paid off
Despite being the easiest one of the bunch, Greed is probably the most threatening of them all considering it made the player touch the sword and forced them to, you know, go through all that

For anyone who doesn’t know, the game description reads how it is based off of Paper Mario and *Earthbound* . During 12:47, when it says “You can’t grasp the true power of HATRED’s attack!” That’s a reference to earthbound. The final boss, giygas, is incredibly similar to HATRED. They’re both essences of pure evil and rage, and both are red. Giygas does an attack similar to HATRED, with the same text box saying his name. Pretty cool.

im kinda surprised that the character felt greed "oh no i just snowgraved a king and turned a innocent kid into a plant monster! time to rob enemys of their blux instead of self reflecting!"

My game was super slow and I had to completely play the whole purification section with everything invisible, not even realizing it wasnt intentional lmao (except the last part with Hatred, i guess the game wanted to load then)
What if...there's an alternative ending where you team up with green and purple and you manage to win. You don't defeat hatred making YOU the villain. Collecting swords for power and not to save builderman.

Red&Blue are always so useful as a meat shield... Until you get enemies that hit everyone or destroys health in general like Hatred

Something that i noticed when Hatred does his second attack he transforms like the eye of sauron
Nothing in my solitude fight loaded in so i literally thought the point of solitude is that you couldnt see him at all
