Thanks for video. Know how to get them looking their best. Chop the top off a cane, thats that canes growing in height ended. Will just branch out and look odd.

It's Fishpole Bamboo. The red stems will turn yellow once they mature.

Yes I have seen it pruned in the same way I did mine with the bottom half of the canes bare.

Bought 3 lots of Bamboo seeds and I can't get any to even germinate.

I've never grown bamboo from seed. It can be difficult because bamboo takes many years to seed. For this reason there's a chance that your seeds might be an old batch that is no longer viable. It's much easier to propagate bamboo from the rhizome. I might do a video about it actually.
