Crash! Judith Schossboeck & Matthias Mollner reflect on severe ME art exhibition

  • In the summer of 2023, Judith who lives with Severe ME and her partner, Matthias, a visual and performance artist, organised an exhibition in a prestigious gallery in Vienna, Austria. Here, over a period of months, Judith and Matthais recorded video responses to Daniel's questions about ME and the creative process, and about arranging the exhibition with contributions from severe ME patients from all over the world.

    Thanks Dan and Judith and Matthias. Loved this all so much. Loved hearing all about Judith's process around art, and about the show, and projects ahead. The fuuuuuuuu...cks at the end seemed to me so full of an existential frustration and despair and beautiful and distressing messy-ness and exhaustion that I could relate to so much. Hoping to comment more but this for now. Thanks again!!!

    6:54 fyi, it's mast cell activation disorder (MCAS), not muscle activation disorder
